A Quiet Place

Fluttershy walked across the clearing looking around, but she went slow. The creature could be any where and one noise.. Your dead. She tapped on her daughter's shoulder, she smiled and walked into her small cottage.

Big Mac was sitting at the small table next to his son, frowning. His son refused to go with him to look for food because he still remembered the day his brother was caught and killed in one swipe, but the baby would make up for lost time.

Nonetheless the baby was due in two weeks, and Big Mac couldn't wait to see if it was a boy or girl. As for their daughter poor thing couldn't hear a thing so instead of whispering they did sign language, Big Mac slowly cut the lettuce into small pieces since the strong stallion was you know.. Strong he had to do this very slow.

Before the ugly pony came, Twilight was part of the princesses. Cadence went to live Fillydelphia along with now grown up Flurry Heart and Shining Armor, now there was four princess. But all that happiness soon ended, the main 5 as they would say died first. The only ones left were: Big Mac, Fluttershy, Marble Pie, Silent Treat, Sneaky Step, and they didn't know what to call the baby.

But Marble Pie died of starvation and sickness, Silent Treat was their daughter and Sneaky Step was their son. How convenient for all four princess to go missing, even Twilight left them to die.. Without saying goodbye.

Wow. What a friend, now since they grew corn. Lights hung and the two color were green for " I'm Okay " and the red is for "Help! In danger" Since they can't scream, or make a sound.

Still the son refused to go, he was too scared. Big Mac was no egghead but he made his daughter multiple hearing aids but of course they didn't work, she begged him to let her go.

"Please! Let me go, I won't make a sound I promise".

He shook his head and knelt down to her level since her daughter was so small, rubbing his hoof on her cheek.

"Its too dangerous for you. Plus I need you to watch over your mom, just in case she gives birth".

She snorted silently and turned her head away, he sighed and kissed his wife's cheek goodbye.

While Big Mac and Sneaky Step were out, Fluttershy looked sadly at her daughter. She waved a hoof in front of her daughter, getting her attention she looked.

"Don't mind them, whenever this filly is born I'll take you out myself! I'll talk with you father later, ok"?

She smiled widely, hugging her mom tightly. She let out a tiny squeak which made her flinch away, the filly it was kicking.

Silent Treat went to her room and grabbed the toy airplane, with some pliers. She headed off to the bridge, where she last saw her brother.

A nail stood up from the stair case as she tripped over it not knowing that this.. nail was going to be a problem.

When the time comes...

They left the little house, crossing the bridge but behind them they didn't see the filly with the airplain clutched to her chest.

When Big Mac slowly cupped his fore hoof over his son, and whispered as the little river waves crashed into each other.

"Son, Ah know it's hard to speak but at least try". He shook his head in fear as his father spoke, and shushed him. He sighed, it has been a long time since... Since the accident with his little brother, and what made it worse was that his big sister was deaf.

All he wanted was to feel safe, and maybe soon they will be...

The waves drowned out the sound of his voice, he sighed and motioned his hoof to follow him. A few minutes later, they came by a water fall which was a bit louder than the river. He howled like a timberwolf, the son looked at his father in disbelief.

"You try it". He sighed, as the son took a deep breath and did the same thing as his father. They giggled as they walked back to the cottage.
