Silence ringed across the bakery, little soft clopping of hooves. But not enough to attract them, somepony then let out a small quiet cough. The mother grew alert, She shushed them, grabbing the pills from the cabinet.

The another colt in the corner reached for a toy wonderbolt Soarin to be exact, but couldn't reach it... when he bumped into the shelf knocking the toy over as it bolted for the floor but just before it could an older filly slid across the floor to grab it with shaking her hooves.

The others necks cracked towards them, terror filled their eyes. She gave him the Wonderbolt and smiled, going to the cashier to grab something else. When the colt tried to take it with him the father stopped him, he lightly grabbed it taking the batteries out. He moved his hoof in sign language, seeing terror hit the little boy.

I'm sorry but you can't have that, too much noise.

Sadness hit the boy as he looked down in disappointment.
He put the toy on the counter, and left right when the older filly grabbed it and gave it back putting her hoof to her mouth. He smiled as she too, walked away. He also grabbed the batteries and hid both of them in his large leather coat.

The mother was carrying the sick colt on her back yawning, tonight was going to be long. There, a few miles ahead led to a bridge, the colt stopped to put the batteries in his wonderbolt. Making a huge sound causing everypony to stopped dead in there tracks, they heard a clicking sound to the right.

"Woooosssssshhhhhhh! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Sawawahrhrnnsnneje"!

They all jumped at the sudden sound, turning around. The colt smiled, and the bushes swish around.

The mother cried as the stallion ran for his child, but before he got to him....
The creature snatched him up with his big... front claws.
