I was there sitting on my couch, wondering what grade I had gotten in my finals... just as I was thinking whether I got a B- or a C+ (later I would learn I managed to achieve an A+) my phone vibrated. I checked to see who it was; my best friend Wade had just sent me a message.

-Dude, where are you rn?
-My apartment, why?
-Check the news, QUICK!

I did as he said, out of curiosity of why he wrote it in caps; he never wrote in caps. I reached for the  remote and turned the TV on, switched to the news channel and saw something I would have never expected.

See, I am a huge fan of the solar system, when I was five I made my very own model; I made it to scale. So when the NSTA (New Space Travel Agency) announced they were going to make a crew out of "ordinary" people, I got as excited as you can get.

The NSTA said they'd announce the people that classified for the training today in the news, but since I knew my chances were pretty slim, I hadn't bothered to check it out. So when Wade texted me telling me to see the news, I was thankful he'd been watching.

-Man, that's amazing! You classified for the training.
-I... I... Don't believe it
-See? I told you you could do it.

Now, being in this crew was gonna be tough, the training lasted a whole year, we'd have a practice mission to the moon, and whoever managed to survive all that, still had to pass through the judges eyes to see if we were part of the crew, to Jupiter.
