Derick:
My new team were working on finding clues as I was on her phone. Nothing out of place, the only texts she got were from me her mom and her boss. She didn't talk to a lot a people.

"Hey boss." One of my boys called. It took me a moment as I had to let that register in my brain. It was weird being called boss, but oh well I'd get used to it eventually.
"Yeah, you find something Ian?" I ask walking over to him. He was out on the roof where she had been, well more in the dark part of the roof, I walked over and about threw up as I stepped back. There, the cat lie there, covered on blood as it stank of death.
What the hell? I didn't see that last time I was here. "What the fuck?"
"I don't know, it's too damaged to tell, but it was the neighbor's cat." Ian said to me.
"What the hell is going on here?" It's been two days and I haven't heard anything from her.
"This one seems like a tough one man, I know if you don't find anything in three days you can send Brice out to starting trying to put up signs..."
"I don't know, maybe. I gotta get something off of this place eventually." I was determined too. There had to be something left behind.
"What if you don't?" He asks quietly.
"I don't know." I didn't want to say it, but I would carry this investigation in my own. I will find her, even if it kills me.
Shit, I'd have to contact her parents. Oh that was not going to be easy. I rub my hand over my face as I sighed heavily, this was going to be hell.
