We finally reach the Hogwarts grounds. I step off the boat, holding Bella's shoulder for support. "Oh yay a Charlie Horse on my shoulder."

I rolled my eyes playfully and we followed the other students to the school. At least a hundred first years were arriving. "That's a lot of first years,"

Mel said. Martha groaned, "That means a long sorting." We entered the castle to find Filch, who is surprisingly still alive, at the entrance to the Great Hall.

"Ah, new students. A lot of new students. Wait here until yer sorted." He went into the Great Hall and closed the door behind him.

Did we of the wrong way? I've only been here once when I was sorted. He decided to wait until the doors opened an awe would then sit at our house tables.

We stood there for about ten minutes until the doors opened on their own. The first years backed away in shock, but entered when the doors stopped moving.

I sat down at the Slytherin table, while the others went to theirs. I looked up at the sky. It looked like the painting Starry Night, but brought to life.

The candles illuminated the clouds. It was beautiful. All the first years went up to the front of the Great Hall. When the last student was sorted, the food appeared, and we began to eat.
