Chapter 5: [Heat of the battle]

"Huh? What...Was that?" Muttered Yoza as she gripped a hold of her child. She was escorted in a car to the Imperial Core.

[IMPERIAL CORE]

"The hell was that?" Asked Nyro. Both Nyro and Zhaylen heard an explosion in the distance, as the two attempted to go see it. They were stopped in the hallway, a man with a gun at the back of their head appeared.

"BANG!" Shouted Viction, the two moved as quickly as possible from the sudden noise. Both Nyro and Zhaylen stood side by side and stared down at Viction. "HAHAHA! Boy! You guys are sure quick! It's a good thing too...If you would've just stand der', I would be very disappointed in you. That would tell me that y'all are nothin' more than pushovers." Stated Viction. Veins would appear on Nyro's face as he eyed down at the two.

"Well, is this the Imperial Core's Emperor?" Asked Blunoira.

"You bet your ass it is. Tis' the same guy that took on King, Enigma..." Muttered Viction as he pointed one of his guns at Nyro.

"You..." Groaned Zhaylen as he latched onto his sword. Nyro looked over to him and responded.

"You know this guy?" Asked Nyro as he gripped onto his Kings Royale.

"His name is Viction, he's apart of this problem. Me and Cassro fought this guy before, mind you he has the ability to discharge lightning and light itself out of those guns. Yet...It was like he wasn't even trying." Replied Zhaylen, Nyro rubbed his chin.

"Oh yeah? What about that girl right there?" Asked Nyro.

"Never seen her in my life. I can't imagine what the hell she can do." Stated Zhaylen.

"If you boys are done chit-chatting. My girls would love to have a dance." Said Viction as he pointed his dual guns at them and released multiple shots at the two, both Nyro and Zhaylen moved out of the way and slide across the tile floor.

"Huh, well then. Let's start the party." Said, Nyro, as he pulled out his sword and pointed it at the two.

"You read my mind, boy!" Said Viction as he aimed both of his guns, one at Zhaylen and the other at Nyro. He discharged a rapid barrage of lightning bullets their way that they'd nimbly avoid with Nyro heading for Blunoira.

"I got this one!" Said, Nyro, as he charged in towards Blunoira, clashing swords together. Meanwhile, Zhaylen would be swinging away with his sword at Viction who seemed very precise at avoiding each slash and aimed his gun up to Zhaylen's jaw.

"Smile for the birdie!" Said Viction as he pulled the trigger but was too late to hit Zhaylen with the lightning bullet as he seemed to already move just in time before it could hit him. He was immediately behind Viction with his sword sheathed and his fist pulled back as the iron coating filled over one of his arms with flames bursting off.

"Smile for the birdie!" Said Zhaylen who had been mocking Viction and landed a jaw-breaking punch right across his face that tunneled him through the floor. Nyro was left a bit amazed by Zhaylen's impressive display of skills and kept on going back and forth with Viction, having the advantage of speed against him just making him feel like a ragdoll. "And stay down, bastard." Said Zhaylen to Viction who was laid across the floor but then soon began to rise back up with his face healed. "You've gotta be kidding me!"
