I’m just a simple girl.
A simple human being that lives in a shrine.
A shrine that my family and past generations must take good care.
I have a lot of questions in my mind just like ‘why we have to protect this shrine; why do we need to take good care of it and why do we need to put our lives just to protect and take good care of it’.
But all of a sudden, my life was changed when there was a bloody tragedy happened in our shrine that costs the lives of my whole family and this is how it happens.
Chapter 1
“Satella, you must save your life. Run as fast as you can”, mama said.
“Mama, I don’t want to. I want to stay here. I want to fight also for our shrine”, I said.
“you have to Satella because you need to survive so that you can start all over again and gain a strength to rebuild our shrine, so hide and run as you can do before these demons will kill you and worst will kill all of us”, mama answered.
“Ahahaha, there you are”, demon said after he just appeared in front of us.
“Run Satella, run”, mama said and pushed me hardly.
I put all of my courage and strength to run and hide.
I run as fast as I can just to survive.
All of the surroundings are all already burned up by a fire.
I can’t do anything to protect our shrine and help my family.
I’m such a coward person because I ended up running away.
When I was already a far from our shrine, I took a little bit steps to look at our shrine.
My tears are falling.
It was already covered by a fire.
“Mama, granny, sister, father”, I shouted.
I can’t imagine that this will be the last time I will see them.
I know that mama said that I have to save my life but I don’t want to live lonely in this world. If they die in fighting, I must have to.
I run as fast as I can. I need to go back immediately in our shrine before I regret everything.
