I slithered through the forest, letting my hair fall over my shoulders from the wind. The sound from a human, made my eyes turn into slits, scanning the area around me. My golden green eyes landed on two hunters, making my heart stop. In their hands, what seemed to be crossbows. The cold air surrounded me and a shiver ran down my spine. Being a naga is not always easy, especially not when hunters would often kill to get their hands or even see one of my kind. I was usually calm, when it came to hunters, none of them having dared to threaten me, until he appeared.

A sudden blow to the back of my head came. Everything started to become blurred and as I felt my conscious fade, I saw, what looked to be, a human male with sympathetic eyes, which no hunter had ever showed to a naga. My eyelids started getting heavier and the voices from the hunters started turning into mumbles, before everything went black.

A sharp pain in my side made me wake up, sweat dripping from my forehead as I tried moving, noticing myself in a small cage with so small bars, that it was impossible to get through them. My gaze went through the room, the first thing I noticed, was creatures hanging around the room. A few of them were dead, but some were crying in pain, others hissing from anger and a few saying nothing, trying to act tough. The metal sound from the chains around my wrists came in my ears from struggling to get free. A laugh appeared from across the room, making my head lit up, trying to see through the darkness. My eyes turned into slits, noticing one of the hunters from earlier, making me try to get in the back of the cage, which was not much.

I hissed, venom dripping from my fangs, seeing him smirk by it. "You'll see little naga. I got all creatures in the whole world. I got pictures with each one of them as well. All except your species. Moreover, let me tell you, I have always wanted to catch a naga, but all attempts to get one has been futile. That is until you showed up of course. Therefore, now that I have you, you will not be tasting freedom for a while, if ever. Let me give you a little insight on what is about to happen to you. You are about to be sold to a special zoo. A special zoo is for mythical creatures such as yourself, so do not worry, you will fit right in. As much as I wanted o keep you as a pet, I need the money more. But once I've got enough money." The man leans in closer to me. "I'll come back to get you." That sentence sent shivers down my spine. The man takes a step back, much to my joy. "Apparently you female naga are quite rare, so you can understand how hard it is for me to let go of you." The man grins a disgustingly wide grin, showing off his rotted, nicotine teeth. My gaze falls to the ground. The man gives a loud laugh that kept getting louder. He began walking away, still roaring with laughter, until his laughter and footsteps were inaudible. I moved lightly in the cage, curling up to my tail, being the only thing that calmed me down by the time. I single tear escaped my left eye with a sniffle following right after. I looked around the room, scanning each cage with my eyes before letting myself fall into a deep sleep.

I opened my eyes slowly, seeing the sun brighten the small room up. It was all dirty, coke and beer bottles laid over the floor with guns and bullets all over the dust full tables. The door caught my attention as it swung open, revealing the man from earlier. He made his way to my cage, opening it up and grabbing the chains around my wrists, pulling me out on the floor. I hissed in pain, trying to get up from the floor, the male kicking my arm, making me fall back down. He grabbed the back of my neck, holding the chains away so I would not be able to hurt him. I snarled loudly, pain coming in the back of neck. "You will behave or I will cut that tail of yours off that pretty tail of yours off, and we wouldn't want that now would we?" He laughed.

He let go of me, pulling in the chains as he guided me outside. I hissed by the sun, feeling him tuck in the chains, making me slither after him. I looked around, seeing a pickup truck, waiting with open door, the word 'Zoo' being on the side with animals on. The zookeeper pushed me into the truck before closing the door. I looked out the window to see the zookeeper handing the male money before getting in and turning on the motor. The truck began shaking. I gave a sigh. I then wrapped my tail around myself and laid down on the cold metal floor. I glanced around, seeing small bunnies jump about their small cages. A male voice then spoke.
