Saturday came, it was time for the group to meet. Phoebe was still stressed about trying to get pregnant and she had no one to talk about since Mike and her decided not to tell anyone until they know for sure that they are having a baby.
- Joey, when are you going to start filming - Chandler asked
- They said everything will be ready in a month, so soon I guess.
- Is anyone famous going to be there? - Rachel said with a smile
- No, but I heard that the girl who's playing main role is really good. - Joey answered
Ross kept looking at Rachel knowing what he was going to do the next day.
Chandler and Monica were getting tired, because of the babies. Monica put her head on Chandler's shoulder.
- Hey Mon, how is motherhood going? - Ross asked
- Good. We still haven't found a nanny, so I can't go back to work. - she answered - By the way, what was that male nanny's name who you fired?
- Oh, Sandy? - Rachel asked
- Yeah, do you know if he's free? - Monica answered
- I don't know, I haven't talked to him lately. I can give you his number tho - Rachel said and searched for the number in her purse - Umm, I don't have it now, but I'm sure it's in the phone book.
*The next day, Ross and Rachel's apartment*
Rachel came to the living room where Ross was already waiting for her with breakfast.
- Where's Emma? - she asked
- My mum took her early, so we can have the whole day just for ourselfs.
- How romamtic... - she smiled and kissed him on the cheek
- Maybe before we go to dinner we could go to the movies or to the park? - Ross asked
- Park sounds great. - Rachel answered
* At dinner*
- I'll take lasagna and a salad. What about you? - Rachel said while looking in the menu
- I'm still thinking. - Ross answered
- What about drinks?
- What if we order a bottle of your favourite wine?
- Ross, it's expensive. You've got me already, there is no need to impress me amymore!
- Yes, there is. You deverse it. - he grabbed her hand
Not long after they ordered, their meals were brought to the table.
- It's the most delicious lasagna in the world! - Rachel said while stuffing her mouth with food - Thank you so much for bringing me here.
- No problem, I know how much you like it here.
When they finished, the wine arrived. The waitress poured it into glasses and Rachel tasted it.
- Mmm... I haven't had this wine since our last date here 9 years ago. - she said
- You haven't?
- No, only you do those romantic gestures - Rachel smiled and looked into Ross' eyes.
They finished drinking and went outside for a walk in central park.
- You look so beautiful. - Ross got closer to Rachel
She smiled and kissed him passionately. After so many nights spent apart, they were finally back together.
- I love you, Rachel. I love you so damn much. - he said with his arms around her waist
- I love you too.
They looked into each other's eyes in silence. Not an awkward one.
- I have a crazy idea - Ross whispered - Let's go to the observatorium where we had our first date.
- That sounds nice - she whispered back with a smile
Ross grabbed Rachel's hand and they walked to the museum.
- Shouldn't it be closed? - Rachel asked - We probably shouldn't be here.
- Don't worry. I've got everything under control. You trust me, right?
- I do. - she answered as they entered the museum.
It was dark and they barely saw anything. Ross grabbed Rachel's hand and lead her to the observatorium. They went to the center of the room.
- So many memories in here... You remember? - Rachel pointed at floor - We started kissing right there...
- Yeah... and you know, when we were kissing that night I thought that you were the love of my life... I always knew that at some point. And I still think we were meant to be together. And... I'll do anything not to lose you ever again. Cause you're the one, Rachel.
Rachel started crying. She knew what was about to happen. She always knew it was going to happen someday.
- So... - he got on one knee. Stars
combined into "Will you marry me?" - Rachel Karen Green, will you marry me? - he said trying not to cry
Rachel covered her mouth with her hands.
-Yes! - she said. Ross stood up and put the ring on her finger.
