Sweet Pea's POV
After Y/N had roasted the shit out of Reggie in front of the class I couldn't help but smile. She couldn't be anymore different from Cheryl. She had only been there one day and showed she wasn't some Northside cliche like everyone else there. It was hilarious watching Y/N embarrass Reggie in front of the class. He was a real asshole and deserved it. Cheryl on the other hand wouldn't have told him off. Cheryl and Reggie were somewhat friends. The bell didn't ring much longer and Toni, Fangs and I were always one of the first ones out but when I looked up I saw Y/N leaving in what I'm sure was her car since I hadn't seen it in the parking lot before. It looked like the type of car someone rich would drive. She was parked in the spot next to my bike along with Toni's and Fangs' next to mine. That spot had been empty for just over a week until now. It had been an unspoken barrier between Northsiders and Southsiders at school. I couldn't wait to see the looks on Toni and Fangs faces when I tell them what happened in class.
"Then she ended it with "And I think your gene pool could use a little more chlorine." It was fucking hilarious. You guys should have seen Mantle's face. It was priceless." I tell Toni and Fangs laughing playing a game of pool in the Whyte Wyrm.
"She is the only Northsider I have ever meet that didn't judge the Serpents. I mean besides Betty and Jughead. Kind of." Toni says unsure.
"She's in my English class. She actually walked up to me and asked if she could sit with me. I didn't actually think she was talking to me. I filled her in on the merger and was actually surprised that nobody had said anything to her about it. Not the staff or even Cheryl." Toni says sitting on the bar stool next to the pool table Fangs and I were using.
"Y/N's pretty hot." Fangs comments with a smirk. I feel my blood boil from his comment. "So is Cheryl but she's too much to handle." He adds.
"Y/N said Cheryl wasn't like that all the time. She is judged and people always make accusations against her just like they do with us Serpents." Toni argues.
"What does she know about us Serpents." Fangs scoffs. Jughead interrupts our conversation.
"Y/N grew up with Archie, Betty and I . We would all hang out and so would our parents. My dad was actually pretty good friends with her dad and our mom's were close." Jughead says to Fangs.
"What do you mean by was?" Toni asks emphasizing the word was. I'm eager to hear the answer.
"Let's just say Y/N's parents aren't very good at the actual parenting part. My dad along with Archie's parents and even Betty's would comment on how they treated her trying to help her but after so long they gave them the cold shoulder and we started seeing less and less of Y/N. Even though she was closer with Cheryl then us she was still our friend. The first time we saw her after a month was when she came to say goodbye." Jughead explains.
"Why is she so close with Cheryl Blossom? I mean she's Cheryl she's kind of a bitch." Toni asks and Fangs and I grin.
"Cheryl could easily relate to her and Y/N was the first person she ever really let in. Cheryl is guarded and has a mean front because of her past. Her parents always liked her brother more and made no effort in hiding it and they pushed her aside. But Y/N is more closed off and she wants nothing to do with her parents. Her mother is obsessed with their image as a family and her father is just cruel. Y/N would always talk about how much she loved Riverdale and the people here but she would leave it if that meant getting away from her parents." Jughead answered.
