Pagdating namin sa bahay ni chie sinalubong kaagad kami ni mommy with a jar of cookies on her hand
“hi tita! OMO is that cookies? I really missed your baked products tita!”
“hi Richie dear why don’t you visit here more often para naman makatikim ka palagi ng mga binebake ko?”
“I would love to do that tita but there’s one person here who will probably choke me to death if she will see me here everyday”
Napairap na lang ako sa sinabi niya, it’s not that I don’t want to see her everyday it’s just she will just bug me all day
It’s 7 in the evening when Dad came home saktong sakto na nakaluto na si mom ng dinner
“hi dad how’s the trip?” I said as i hugged and kissed him on his cheeks
“still the same as usual” he flashed his beautiful smile as he saw my mom walking out of the kitchen
“I missed the two of you! How’s life while I’m away? Cray baby are you still trying to sleep on your mom’s garden?”
Mom just chuckled as she heard dad calling me baby knowing how I would react to it
“stop calling me baby! for Pete’s sake I’m already 20 years old yet you still keep calling me baby?”
Napairap na lang ako sa kanila ni mom as they laugh, they really know how to piss the hell out of me
“hi tito dan!”
“oh my favorite niece is here!” chie just giggled as dad hugged her too
Kumain na kaagad kami ng dinner pagkatapos ng mga kamustahan ni da and chie and the conversation continued as we ate our food
“you two young ladies should prepare pasukan na ulit next week diba?”
“dad we’re not high school students to prepare tha much a single notebook and a calculator will be fine”
“yes tito and regarding with the enrollment it is already done na po last week pa lang so you don’t have to worry anymore”
“ok sabi niyo eh”
After we ate dinner dumiretso na ako sa kwarto ko at tinapon ang sarili ko sa kama, chie is staying sa katabi kong kwarto and probably nagmumuni na naman yun
Napatingin na lang ako sa kisame and suddenly I remember the guy standing outside chie’s house he’s like watching us or me? I don’t know he looks some kind of predator waiting for a good chance on when he will bite its prey
I wasn’t able to see clearly his face kasi nakasuot sya ng hood
“Aissshh!!!”
Napasabunot na lang ako sa buhok ko knowing na di ko rin naman mabibigyan agad ng answers yung mga tanong ko
Sa sobrang pagiisip ko tungkol sa nangyari kanina di ko na napansin na nakatulog na pala ako
I woke up the next day na may tumatalon sa kama ko
“hi there little couz! wake up! Wake up!”
"what the—bumaba ka nga chie nahihilo ako sayo!”
Bumaba naman kaagad sa kama ko si chie
“tita told me na magshoshopping daw tayo mamaya so com—natulog ka ba kagabi cray? You look like hell”
Kinusot-kusot ko muna yung mata ko
Anong oras na ba ako nakatulog? Nakatulog na pala ako di man lang muna ako nakapagshower dahil to dun sa lalaking yun eh, if di siya nagpakita kagabi edi sana di ako mukhang stressed ngayon
“anong oras na ba?”
“10 a.m.”
“WHAT? I OVERSLEPT THAT LONG? BAT DI MO AKO GINISING KANINA?”
