Do you ever just feel alone,
Like something's missing inside?

Making you feel hollow like a rotting bone.

Making you feel like hiding off to the side.

Waiting and hoping for that something,

No, the missing piece

To come back so you can have some kind of feeling.

Some kind of light and peace.

But yet, the piece remains unfound.

Missing and allusive in your memory.

Twisting, turning and tying you up leaving you bound.
As you come up with some reason why, some kind of summary.

All in vain as you come up blank.

..I know that feeling of being numb.

Those missing pieces of those whom you lost.

All for reasons you just find stupid and dumb.

Pieces of your heart being the only cost.

Yet, for me, three pieces are missing in me.

One for the grandmother, taken by disease.

Another for the cousin killed by the monster that he couldn't see.

And the last for the brother whom alive but gone with the breeze.

Three gone, two buried below.

And one who makes me feel as if I were too.

It hurts and makes me feel broken and low.

But I manage a smile and hold on tight, how about you?
