Stalking One Direction

Chapter 2

Left, Right, Left, Right, Left- 

"Stop that" Rose says as she enters the office dressed in a red skirt that reaches just above her knees and a white blouse 

She closes the door after she enters  

"Well, I'm sorry but I was bored" I say stopping the movement of my chair "I've been waiting for you for..." I look my watch and quickly calculate the time "Half an hour" 

"Well, I'm sorry but just so you know I was negotiating the pictures you took the other day of Jake Toledo cheating on her wife, everybody want them, they are gold" She says looking satisfied  

"Did you sell them?" I ask  

"Of course not, that is going to be our exclusive" She say emphasizing the our part "But anyway we're not here to talk about that, I called you because I have a new job for you" She says looking straight at me  

"Already?" I ask surprise since it's just been a few days since the last one 

"Yes, and it's a very important one, would you like to know about it?" 

"Well, yeah of course" I reply not doubting  

She start looking at something in her desk until she stops, pulls out a magazine and gives it to me  

"Do you know them?"  

"Of course I know them" I think as I look at the magazine cover. "They're everywhere you look now" But I just answer with a simple "Yes" 

"Well recently they've been rumors saying that they're having problems between them" She wait before continuing as if to check I'm listening "I want you to go to London and keep an eye on them"  

A few second pass before I say anything 

"You want me to move?" I ask once the information sinks 

"Just for a few months, nothing permanent, I know this is a lot to ask for, but think about how much this gossip will pay since they're so famous right now" She says, her eyes becoming big with excitement with just thinking about it 

"I don't know, I mean yeah, it's a great opportunity but then I would have to let my life aside, even if it's just for a few months, just so I can stalk them" I say trying to make my point

"You're not going to stalk them my dear, you're just going to keep an eye on them"  

"Which is the same" I think for myself  

"Look I-I need some time to think about this" I say looking at her excited face 

She sighs and push back her chair "I understand that, which is why I'm going outside to let you think" she say walking towards the door "Call me when you're ready" I hear the door close and then she's gone  

"Ok, so Annie... This is the time to clear your thoughts" I whisper to myself after a few seconds of looking at the ceiling  

If I accept that job then I will have to stay there for probably a month, in a strange city full of strangers 

But... in the other side I've always wanted to go to London and if I accept this job I can go for free  

I start to smile at this thought but stop abruptly when I realize that if I accept I won't be on vacations, I will go to work... This is going to be harder than I thought

After what felt like hours I had finally made my decision so I told Rose to come back in and she's now looking at me from the other side of the desk  

"I'll do it" I say and then she almost smiles, almost 

After thinking a little more I decided that going for a job will be better than not going at all, and it couldn't be that bad 

Could it?
