"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" Xia apologised frantically, staring at the blob of spaghetti on her hoodie, afraid to see how bad he looked.
She had been absorbed into texting Haechan and so she didn't notice as she walked right into someone, spilling all his food.
"Are you fucking serious?!" he yelled. "This shirt was expensive, and now it has red pasta sauce dripping off of it!"
"Gosh, can't you watch where you're going?" the snarky voice of a girl asked. "Klutz."
Great, humiliated on Day 1 she thought to herself.
"Yeri shut up," someone else spoke up. Who was defending her? "Also Jaemin, calm your tits it was an accident,"
That's when Xia looked up. The guy who she crashed into was way taller than she was, had brown hair and might've actually been attractive if he wasn't scowling.

The girl had short, dark hair and looked like the kid of person who would be all loveable and cute on the outside but is actually plotting your murder. She was probably Yeri, the one girl Haechan mentioned.
Finally, she looked over at the one who defended her. Her heart started beating really quickly. He was really cute, he was so handsome that Xia was kicking herself for being in a stupid position like this for when they first meet.
"What even are you waiting for?" Jaemin droned on with a nasty tone. "Clean this all up."
"We don't have all day!" Yeri smirked, folding her arms across her chest.
Although the guy who defended Xia did not look amused, the sound of snickering rippled through the small crowd around them. Xia couldn't take it and tears were starting to well up in her eyes.
"Xia!" someone called. Amongst everyone crowded around us, Renjun had pushed his way to the front. He came up to her and grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly to comfort her. Then he turned to face Jaemin. "Don't make such a big deal out of an accident, you jerk."
With that, Renjun pulled his sister away from everyone to the bathroom. Not caring that it was the girls' room, he came inside and helped her wash the spaghetti stains off as well as possible. Unfortunately, they didn't go fully, and neither of them had any extra clothes on them.
"It's fine Renjun," I sighed. "I'll just deal with it."
He looked sceptical but shrugged anyway. Just then, the bell rang signaling the end of lunch. So, the two of them left and went to their lockers to grab their books for the next class.
Xia approached her locker and groaned on the inside, because standing right next to her locker was the guy who defended her. She wanted to forget the incident but yet there he was.
He looked up when he saw her coming, and watched her as she took out her books.
"Can I help you?" she asked, starting to get uncomfortable.
"Are you okay?" he wondered, looking genuinely concerned.
"I am, my hoodie isn't."
"I see that," he replied. "What's your name?"
"Huang Xia," I answered. "You?"
"Lee Jeno."
Nice name she thought. Nice face too- wait stfu Xia.
She brushed away her thoughts and was about to ask him about Jaemin and Yeri when he reached into his locker and pulled out a plain white t-shirt. He held it out to her.
"Here, you can wear this even though it'll be big for you," he muttered shyly, not looking her in the eye. "Don't say no, that makes it awkward for me."
Reluctantly, Xia took the shirt from him. She felt amused and a smile played across her lips.
"Thanks Jeno," she said gratefully. He looked up at her and flashed her the cutest eye smile ever.

Xia's heart was beating so fast, Jeno could probably here it. She thanked him again and ran to the bathroom to change as fast as possible. She ended up having to tie it for it to fit, but it looked fine. She'd have to find a way to thank him.
Once she got home, she told Haechan about the whole incident, even though he had apparently already heard about the first part. All he seemed to really care about was the fact that Xia was wearing Jeno's shirt.
