This is my first fanfic and I hope you enjoy it!
Marinette sat bolt up right in bed. Her throat was scratchy from screaming. Tears were falling down her face. She sobbed silently. The same nightmare again. All because of one stupid cat, and her carelessness...
--*Flashback*--
"Hello M'lady! Puuur-fect day for an akuma fight don't you think?" Ladybug threw him an unimpressed look and deflected an incoming missile. "I am Velvatine! You will all pay for ridiculing my dress!" Velvatine, the newest akuma was very pretty, but her eyes held a coldness that sent shivers up both our heroes spines. She didn't look like much, but they could tell that this was going to be a hard -and long- fight.
She sent pin-missile, after pin-missile at the continuously dodging heroes. "Chat! We cant carry on like this! Can you distract her long enough for me to use my lucky charm?" She looked worriedly at Chat. "Of course L.B! You can count on this purr- etty kitty!" Chat Noir ran off towards the akuma. "Over here you walking fashion disaster!" Velvatine glared at the cat, "I'd like to see you do better!"
Ladybug saw that he had everything under control and used her lucky charm "Lucky.. CHARM" A rope and magnet.. simple enough. Running forward she switched the magnet on. All the pins that she had were stuck to her magnet, and Velvatine was quickly bound up. "Nooo!" Howled Velvatine. Wriggling around she got hold of a pin. She threw it..
.. Straight towards Chat..
"Chat!" Ladybug, who was half way through smashing the akumatised item sprinted towards Chat. Reaching with her yo-yo, she hooked the pin and dragged it back. Chat hissed with pain. It had just got through his suit. Seeing that he was in no immediate danger, she smashed the item and cleansed the butterfly. "Bye bye little butterfly.." Chat stood awkwardly behind her. Ladybug turned towards him, and walked forward.
She glanced down at the torn part of his suit. It was bleeding slightly, but not to bad. It was then that she realized something. The cut was over his heart. Then..
.. She just stared at him.
"M-m'lady?" Tears filled her eyes and shy pulled Chat into a hug. "I thought you were going to... to.." Her voice cracked as possible outcomes flashed through her mind. "But I didn't.. That's all that matters."
"Don't do that again Chaton."
"I wont M'lady."
--*End of flashback*--
That is why Marionette was curled up on her bed. Terrified that she wouldn't be able to save him next time...
Hi guys! I hope you enjoyed the first part of 'Nightmares'. As I said before, this in my first fanfic. I'm just going with the flow with this one. I have no plan.
I am not sure when the next part will come out. It depends on the feedback. There will definitely be another part.
