          Wearing a proud smile, he fixed his suit to keep his nerves down. Since he was informed about Loki and the Avengers, he accepted the fact that he couldn't talk to them, besides one person.

          "Stop it, Phil." Maria Hill states looking at her close friend that she considered family.

          "I'm nervous, that's all." Phil reassured her. Fidgeting, he awaits for the girl he called his daughter in a few hours. "I thought Director Fury said that the Avengers weren't supposed to know?" He asks her, leaning against the black wall inside of Maria's office.

          Maria sighs, ready to to avoid the truth. "Because, Daisy loves you too much and Fury thought that if she thought you were badly wounded that she'd go off the rails, you know her." She says convincing him. She bites her lip. Her excuse seemed alright, but he believed her.

         "Well, to bad I can't even talk to them, I have a team to prepare for." Phil smiles. Right there, Maria got a call that Agent Grant Ward was here for her in the conference room.

          "Wait for my signal, Phil." Maria tells the older agent and walks out. Phil just smiles at the thought that Fury could trust him with his own team. Little did he know that Nick did it for his safety to move on in life. Nick believes that Phil Coulson was more than an Agent, but a leader.
