(Y/N) P.O.V

Ever since the first day of school, I seemed to gain attention from being more intellectually competent as opposed to my other class mates. People would bully me to do their homework and things like that but then my mum encouraged me to start dancing when I was young so that I'd gain confidence, strength and self-worth to stand up to those wretched people.

After my first dance class at age 7, I instantaneously fell in love. I never stopped dancing until I went to university to undergo a law degree.

I can clearly recall the day I got my results from university and I got the highest in my class. Everyone hated me in our criminal law classes because I was smartest, or so our results showed.

Although I was smart and could get a well paid job and live a care free life, it wasn't enough for me. I was never completely... satisfied with the way I spent my time.

I wanted to do more. This lingering feeling, I was certain, came from my lack of pursuing my passion for dance.

Funnily enough, I exceeded the expectations of most in dance too. I'm not sure why. Dance and law are quite different in terms of application but it just so happens that those are my gifts in life and I was more than thankful.

So after giving up my law career, I finally decided that I was going to do it. I would become a dancer full-time. It's something I've always wanted to do but was unsure if I would thrive in a harsh community of this era.

Today is the official day. The day that I'm auditioning to become a part of a duet with a member from BTS for their next comeback stage.

This was a really big opportunity for me because I know that I'm a good dancer but I've never been able to fully express my talent in group dances that weren't challenging enough in the past. I didn't want to go solo straight away for a few years anyway and therefore thought that dancing as a part of a group would be good for me.

The way the auditions work is 70 dancers were handpicked by Keone Madrid, from videos or talent shows- basically anywhere from around the world. Of which these dancers are expected to perform in a freestyle competition when we all meet on the first day.

Based on the ability of the girls, they'll be placed into ten groups of seven (1 being the highest ability group and 10 being the lowest). Groups 7 and lower are automatically withdrawn from the competition and are sent home- which I thought was pretty harsh.

The 6 groups which remain are each assigned a BTS song that they are expected to learn thoroughly and perform together, working as a team. Their group will be assessed individually and as a whole and graded from 1-6 (One being the best, six the least best).

The best two groups of these six then move onto duets. They're assigned partners who are purposely thought to test one another's abilities.

From those duets, only seven will succeed in full-filling their goal. BTS will then watch a solo performance to decide who their most appropriate partner will be.

The final seven will end up working with BTS for a long time so being able to get closer should be something a dancer is susceptible to. As well as being talented at dancing, the people who succeed should also be friendly and determined to work hard so that making it in this community won't be an issue.
