Sam And Colby and The Midnight Man

Sam woke up at 9:00 a.m. and saw Colby still sleeping on the chair, Colby usually slept in so Sam didn't think anything of it. He got out of bed and said Colby's name kind of quietly just to see if he would wake up, but he didn't, Sam still didn't think anything of it. He left his room silently so Colby wouldn't wake up, then he walked downstairs into the kitchen.

Twenty minutes later Sam heard someone coming down the stairs, but when he looked there was no one. He knew Aaron was out getting more egg whites, Corey and Devyn were in Florida, and Jake wasn't there. Sam didn't know where Jake was but he wasn't there. So it was just him and Colby in the house, plus Navi and Buddy but they were sleeping.

Maybe it was nothing.

He put it aside and went back to what he was doing. Later, he heard a crash from upstairs then he heard Colby screaming.

Oh god.

Sam sprinted upstairs and went into his room to check on Colby, but he wasn't in there.

"Colby! Where are you!?" He heard another crash in their bathroom he went in there and saw the mirror had been smashed and Colby was terrified.

"Colby? Colby!" Sam tried to get Colby to snap out of whatever was happening but it was as if Colby were in a trance, staring at the broken mirror.

Finally, Sam got Colby to snap out of it and they went downstairs. Colby wasn't talking and he fell asleep on the couch,  then about an hour later he woke up and he seemed as if nothing and ever happened.

"Do you remember what happened this morning?" Sam asked.

"No, and why am I on the couch?" Then Sam told him about what happened.

"Ow!" Colby interrupted.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked, worried.

"My back. It stings. Can you see if something stung me or if there's a scratch?" Colby asked. He turned and lifted up the back of his shirt to show Sam.

"Colby. There's three huge scratch marks all down your back."

"What? How?"

"I'm not sure but it's definitely there. Let me take a picture." Sam got out his phone, took a picture of Colby's back, and showed him.

"No wonder it hurt so bad."

"Yeah. It looks like it hurt a lot."

"I don't remember getting it though, it just started stinging, and I don't know what might have did it."

"Well, we need to figure out what it is that did this all this before it hurts any one else. Or before it stays with us forever."
