Chapter 1

~^~^~Sadie's POV~^~^~

A/N: I have no idea what it's like getting off a plane and going into an airport, so I tired my best to imagine what it would be like.

I step out of the plane with Tyler's cage in my hand and the girls right behind me. Before I step forward I take a deep breath of the salty California air. I quickly jog down the stairs and almost sprint into airport. The girls are running to try and catch up with me.

"STOP RUNNING!" One of the airport people yelled. I glared in the direction the voice came and ran to baggage claim.

"We.Are.Finally.Here." Clara said as she gasped for air.

"I'm so excited!!" I squealed.

"So are we!" Clara and Avery replied, still trying to catch their breath.

"Mhm." A man cleared his throat.

"Are you Clara Cooper?" The man asked.

"Yes...?" She said turning around.

"Here are your cats ma'am." He said gesturing towards the moving cart with 2 cages on it.

"VULCAN!! MARZIA!!' We all yelled as we ran towards them. They were both "meowing" fiercely, until they saw us.

"May we let them out of their cage and out their harnesses on them sir?" Avery asked, putting on a puppy dog face.

"As long as they behave, yes."

"YAY!!" Avery squealed.

Clara immediately removed them from their cages and put their leash on them. Clara took Vulcan and Avery took Marzia. I still had little Tyler in his cage which I turned into a cool carrying case for him. We walked back to baggage claim to wait for our bags.

"COOPER!!' Avery yelled, dragging a bag of the baggage claim conveyor belt.

"Yeah?" Clara replied.

"Bag!"

Clara took her bag. Avery and I had all of ours. I had 2 big bag and 1 medium size. They were full of my clothes and bedding etc.

"Is that the last one?" I asked impatiently.

"Ummm, 1 more." Clara replied.

"Ugh."

"HERE IT IS!!" Avery shouted.

"Avery, shhhhhhh." I shushed her.

She grabbed the bag and handed it to Clara.

"Now can we go?" I asked.

"Yes." Clara nodded.

We all grabbed our luggage and pets and walked out. Everyone was backing away from us when they saw Vulcan and Marzia.

"Everyone is backing away from us." I chuckled, nudging Avery.

"Hahaha." She laughed.

We slowly drove down are road, looking for our house.

"CLARA!! STOP THIS IS IT!!" I yelled.

She slammed the breaks, still getting used to the rental car. She turned into the long-ish, cement driveway. I saw our beautiful wood house basking in the hot sun. She parked the car close to the front so we didn't have to walk forever to take our stuff into the house. We all got out and walked to the back of the car to get out stuff.

*ring ring* my phone rang. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and walked up the stairs onto the porch.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Sadie." A familiar voice said.

"Alex?"

"Yes."

"Hey! Our house is sooo pretty, I can't wait until-" I was cut off.

"Sadie, this isn't going to work out. I'm breaking up with you." He said sternly.

"Wha-? Huh? But- No!" I said, my eyes filling with tears.

"Goodbye Sadie." He whispered, and hung up.
