Chapter 2

CLARA POV:

"No!" I hear Sadie cry out. I drop my bags and run to her. "Sadie, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" I asked.

"A-Alex, h-he broke up with m-me!" she cried on my shoulder. "It's fine Sadie, he wasn't good enough for you!" I said rubbing her back. "Yeah, he was an asshole." Avery said.

"Come on, let finish unpacking." Sadie said standing up. I grabbed the bag I dropped and we headed into the house.

"OH MY GOD!" I yell as I see the inside of the house. "It's huge!" Avery yelled. "And that's what she said!" Sadie yelled. I could see she was recovering.

All the walls are white, and there isn't any furniture yet, it's being shipped from New York. It will probably be here in a couple days.

"Let's go pick out our rooms!" Sadie yelled. We all ran up the spiral staircase to the top floor.

I ran to a room on the right side it had a perfect view of the forest and a little window sill, big enough to sit on and look out.

"I want this one! that window is perfect to sit on and look out!" I yelled. Sadie chose the one across the hall and Avery chose the one that looked out to the back.

We chose the attic for a room for our computers and Vulcan and Marzia. We are going to buy paint soon, we will have a lot to paint but it will be fun.

"Guys I want to go out and explore the forest!" I said. "Let's go now!" Sadie yelled. I grabbed my Michael jordans and changed from my knit boot to them.

"Vulcan! Marzia! come here!" I yelled grabbing their leashes ad harnesses. I heard paw steps and all the sudden. was on the ground, And Vulcan and Marzia where on top of me.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" asked Avery. "Yup! they do that all the time." I put their harnesses on and handed Marzia's leash to Avery.

"Sadie, are you taking Tyler?" "No, I don't want him to get hurt or lost." she said. "Okay, let's hit the road! or the....trail!"

"This is absolutely amazing!" I whispered. 'Meow' said Marzia. "I think she likes it too!" Sadie said laughing.

After a little more exploring Avery and Sadie decide to go inside. "Sadie, here take Vulcan. I want to explore more!" I said handing her the leash. "Okay, don't get lost." they said.

I ventured farther into the forest. it was so beautiful! I found a waterfall and places where the trees form archways and I think I may have found a cave.

I start to think of the song I wrote when I was with my old boyfriend. I hated him, he made me emotionless. I start to sing, I know that nobody can hear me.

"I can hold my breath, I can bite my tongue, I can stay awake for days if that is what you want. be your number one.

As I finished singing I thought I heard some leaves rustling, I quick turned around and looked, but no one was there.

"Guys! you'll never believe what I found in the forest!" I said coming into the house. "A dead body?" asked Sadie. "Nope." "Love?" guessed Avery.

"These is no such thing as love for me, Avery." I said sadly. "Someday you will find someone, Clara!" Sadie said sympathetically. "No I won't! I won't love again! And I will push away any love that comes to me!" I said tearing up.

"Well, what did you find?" Avery asked cautiously. "I found a waterfall, and a place where it's like a clearing and the tree branches arch on top! and I think I might have found a cave type thing!" I said.

"That's amazing!" they girls both said. We spent the rest of the night playing Minecraft and COD, then fell asleep on our blow up mattresses.
