♡♡♡♡Waiting for someone isn't easy.
Those words of wisdom come from the twenty-six year-old Min Yoongi who is, right now... sleeping?
Jin opened the door to the two-story home while heaving a sigh. That day at the hospital, he had to handle a seven year-old girl with the most disgusting flu there ever existed, a toddler that wouldn't stop crying because he ate a toothpick, a fourteen year-old girl who he found out has syphilis, and a sixteen year-old boy who had a deep cut in his leg. But, being a pediatrician and surgeon, the twenty-seven year-old expected that. He mumbled an 'i'm home' as he threw off his black coat and dress shoes before he walked into the living room. He put his black messenger bag on the coffee table and flopped onto the couch face down.
"Baby, you're home." Jin heard a hoarse voice and looked up to see his husband rubbing his eyes, wearing a simple black v-neck shirt and navy sweatpants. Wait, wasn't he sleeping?
Jin just nodded before hiding his face into the leather cushions again.
He groaned. "Yoongi. I'm tired." He rolled the 'r' which made him sound childish. The younger chuckled and walked over to Jin, falling on top of him, making the older make an 'oof' sound.
"How many brats did you have to cure this time?" Yoongi asked while rubbing circles on Jin's broad shoulders.
"Fifteen. Four were serious, while the others were either colds or physical check-ups. What about you, sweet? What new songs did your students learn?"
"Hmm, I had the eighth graders again. They suck at playing instruments. You should've heard Jae-bin today; he sounded like a dying Pikachu when he played his A sharp." Yoongi responded, making his husband giggle. He knew Yoongi had trouble with that specific child.
"Soo-chun has syphilis now. I wonder who would've had sex with her."
Yoongi wolf-whistled, making eye contact with Jin and laughing with him.
Yoongi and Jin have been married to each other for three-and-a-half years. They both have nice-paying jobs and have never had an extreme argument; they treat each other with the most love and respect. They met each other on the first day of college, and started dating a year after graduating. After two years, Yoongi popped the question, which ended with a crying Seokjin and the tightest of hugs. They got married four months later and moved in together; their parents quickly approved.
Yoongi got off of Jin and caught sight of his left hand. A gold watch on his wrist, and on his ring finger were two beautiful gold rings; their engagement and marriage rings.
The engagement ring had a line of small diamonds on the front half of the ring in the middle and on the back was a small engrave that said Yoongi; his was the same but the engraving said Seokjin. The marriage ring was a simple gold ring with small flowers engraved all around it for both of them.
Yoongi suddenly flipped Jin over and gave him a small kiss on on his forehead, surprising the older who was drifting off to sleep.
"I love you, Jinnie." Yoongi said happily, his eyes softening.
"I know you do, Yoongi. You tell me everyday!" Jin laughed and a precious smile appeared on Yoongi's face.
"But, I love you too, Yoongi." He pulled the younger down slightly, placed a kiss on his nose, and gently pushed him off.
"I gotta go take a shower and change. It's only eight, so do you think we can watch some Haikyuu?" Jin stood in the hallway with the most adorable puppy eyes directed at Yoongi.
Yoongi playfully rolled his eyes before he said, "Ok," which made Jin smile cutely and disappear into the bathroom. Yoongi took this time to turn on the T.V and make some white cheddar popcorn along with take out some soda; he secretly ordered some food for Jin, from his favorite restaurant, along the way.
When the male finished preparing for their binge session, Jin, as if on cue, walked out of the bathroom, changed into a white long sleeve shirt and cream sweatpants, his light brown bangs messily laying on his eyebrows. Breathtaking, Yoongi would call this look.
You ready?" Jin called as his jumped onto the couch, snuggling into a soft Mario plush. Yoongi sat down next to him, lazily put an arm around Jin's small waist, and pressed play. He felt Jin lean into his side, arms wrapping around him and head resting on his chest, which made the black-haired male smile slightly.
Seven episodes later, the doorbell rang, and Yoongi stood up to go open it. He paid the worker and returned to the living room to be greeted by Jin's questionable eyes. Yoongi just smiled and put the bowl of noodles in front of him. Jin stared at it for a few seconds before he looked to Yoongi who sat next to him and continued to watch the anime.
"Yoongi--"
"Your welcome, love. Is it naengmyeon?"
"...Yeah."
"Good, eat it."
Jin smiled. Of course he'd eat it; Yoongi took the time to order it.
"I'll pay you back."
"No, you won't."
"But--"
"Jin, we're married, i'll remind you. Which means you're my husband. You forgot to eat so I ordered you food."
"Oh my, and what a caring husband you are!" Jin laughed. Yoongi turned to him and smiled.
"Right back at you, sweet."
