What is wrong with the English language? I mean the way American's use it. Read and read, the same spelling but different sounds (reed and red), and meaning. Some words should rhyme and they don't, but some words shouldn't rhyme and they do. I personally think there needs to be a way to fix this. A sentence can have the word that in it two times in a row. Ex: I would like to inform you that that dog is causing a disturbance. The way we spell things is confusing, and half the time things that sound like they should mean one thing (based on Latin roots, prefixes, and/or suffixes), but mean something totally different.
