So since I live in Oklahoma and I go to a public school Im not in school.
So teachers have made this thing called the teacher walk out. it started may 2 its now may 9th. and they plan to continue till they get new equipment to teach us with. like if you walk into a class room you will see 12 year old books, they expect us to learn from them. for example in my English class we were assigned to research about is I privacy really private. because if you didn't know supposedly the FBI and stuff can look through you camera and stuff. so we were suppose to look at the articles in the book but since modern technology has advanced since 12 years ago it was kinda hard to relate to the books. like they still had flip phones in the book. and also At a three-year raise of 0.83%, wage increases have been almost nonexistent for educators in Oklahoma. Teachers make others do with a college degree, the sixth-worst ratio in the country. The cost of living might not be as high as other states, but there's clearly a discrepancy between teacher salaries and the earnings of other Oklahoma residents. and I Oklahoma the Average teacher salary is $44,921.
