Music is Magic

  *5:00pm at the Bella house*

  Beca's Pov:
I'm sitting on my bed with my back against my headboard and my computer in my lap when I hear a knock on my bedroom door.
"Come in!"
The door slowly opened and Emily poked her head through the opening and gave me a soft smile.
"You ready to get to work?"
I smile at her and lift up my laptop.
"Yup"
She enters my room awkwardly, adjusting to the new space and stands uncomfortably at the foot of my bed, waiting for me to say something.
"We'll get your tall ass over here and let's get to work!"
I say patting the space on the bed beside me. She laughed lightly and hopped onto the bed, taking a seat beside me. We shared a long conversation about music and about two hours in we had completed the set list. Funny how much work I could get done with the girl beside me and not just in my head. We talked some more, keeping our positions on the bed without any movement comfortable where we were. I never found communicating with someone this easy before, even with Chloe there was that resistance for a while. But Emily's, she's different. We sat in comfortable silence listening to music on my laptop when she shifted beside me. I almost told her not to go but I realize she was just repositioning, her back being straight against the headboard for the past three hours. She slid down a bit allowing her body to level with mine leaving her legs far surpassing mine. She yawned and rested her head on my shoulder lightly humming along to the song. At first I was shocked and uncomfortable, I never cuddle, even with Jesse or hell Chloe but the smell of her coconut shampoo completely hypnotizing me leaving me at ease. It was around 8:30 at this point and we had both discussed how much of a bitch classes had been today, meaning we were both completely exhausted. I took off my headphones from around my neck and tied my hair up allowing me to see the girl resting on my shoulder better, only to find that she had drifted off to sleep. I was going to wake her up but I was far too comfortable and exhausted to move from this position. Instead I allowed my head to rest against hers and I drifted off to sleep.

Hey! Omg so it's been forever since I updated this story but inspiration just kinda struck. Anyway I plan on updating soon again so stay tuned! What will happen when they wake up? Will the other Bellas find them?
