Did that just happen?!

*the next day*

Emily's Pov:

Ugh, I can't believe I just completely embarrassed myself in front of Beca effin Mitchell, gah I'm such a spaz. I'm laying in bed with my hands over my face thinking of what I complete idiot I was in front of my new captain when suddenly, there's a knock on my door. I get up a peek through the eyehole, I don't see anyone but I still open the door. I'm greeted by a small girl with headphones around her neck.

"Oh hey Beca haha I couldn't even see you through the eye hole, you're so sm-"

"Small, yea I know"

Great job Emily you've made her hate you even more, why would you say that. She's giving me the death glare now and I can feel my face heating up.

Beca's Pov:

I feel kinda bad for putting my death glare on the legacy, kinda, but she called me short she deserves it. Plus watching her cheeks turn pink is kinda adorable. She's like a very tall puppy.

"Anyway, I came here to talk to you about Bella's practice and I also didn't quite catch your name last night."

"Oh, it's Emily." She sits down in her desk chair and a small smile forms across her face.

"Alright, Emily, practice is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, try not to miss too many cause Chloe will go ballistic on you." I hand her the schedule and get ready to leave when she asks me

"So have you figured out what our set is gonna be yet?"

"Honestly, no I haven't been able to focus to make something lately."

"Maybe, I can help, I mean if you want, we could get to know each other better, and maybe it can take some of the load off of you, and you know I'm gonna probably take over the Bella's when you guys leave and-"

"Whoa legacy calm down, sure you can help, just no touching my gear okay?"

"Okay."

I leave Emily's dorm and I have no clue what I just did, I don't even let Chloe help me with sets, what am I thinking???

Emily's Pov:

Thank god!! She doesn't completely hate me and maybe she'll even warm up to me after getting to know me! That would be so great since she's the captain and I'll be in those shoes soon and wow I even ramble in my thoughts... I need a nap.
