"The people of this region are rather, odd, no?" The white cloak wearing man questioned his smaller companion as he gazed beyond the clouded mist. The man looked to be about eighteen from a modern view. His skin hypnotized with the glow of perfect tan. Sun bath hair. Sharp black eyes ingulfed all it gazed. He had gained an odd interest in this place as there was a strong presence of doubt against him.
His smaller companion, a blue eyed and almond haired youth; looking no more than twelve. His own skin was rather pale and his stature fragile. Drumming his fingers he gave a nervius grin to his older master and shrugged. "All mortals are odd, sir. Times have adjusted and changed."
It took a moment as silence grew between the two. The man staring upon the town with great intensity. Something about this place had drawn him close. How it stunk of unjust and lackluster loyalty. Could that be what had drug him here? Tapping his finger on his lower lip he began to give a chuckle.
"My beautiful boy, what season is it?" The man questioned as he floated above the region. His pale pink spear rotating in his hand. The boy looked around and sniffed the air. A smile crept on his face.
"Tis spring sir!" The boy replied happily. The older man too smiled at him.
"Seems that dear mother nature has brewed the perfect condition for us. Tis the time that her fertile womb breaks way for new life to form?" He questioned. The boy nodded excitedly.
"She is but kind at this time. Will she be contempt with the plan I see stirring in those delicate eyes?" The boy teased jokingly. The older man swiftly drifted back towards him, lightly wrapped one arm around the boy's waist.
"Ah, must you know I so well?" He purred as his spear melted to a ring that glimmered on his finger. The boy giggled, utterly pleased by his companion's compliments.
"Being set with you sir allows I to grow quite knowledgeable of you. Thou has been mine for many sprouting cycles!" He replied.
The man just chuckled and tenderly kissed the boy on his brow. Leaning back he once more took in the view of the region he had now decided to play with.
"The residents, unless showing that they have dignity in I, shall be punished swiftly. How say, dear boy?"
"I delight in such ideals!" The boy sung. The man licked his lips before renouncing his current position and drifting to a new location to begin his play.

"Ah, don't you just enjoy days like these? Laying beneath the smiling sun and inhaling nature's sweet wonders?" The cockapoo sighed out with bliss. Most others did as well before a loud disturbance interrupted. They all collectively groaned as they knew whom had caused it.
"Well excuse me if nature loves to torture my nose!" The now adult shepherd complained as he wiped his runny nostril with his paw. By this time the rest had disregarded his disturbance until-
"Damnit shepherd! If you can't handle it please do go inside!" The husky snarled in annoyance. The german shepherd's instincts beckoned him to press forward and challenge her authority, yet his civilized mind knew better; especially after what happened months ago. Simply recalling the event made him unconsciously lick the scar that plagued his nose and upper lip.
"Fine!" He growled back, utterly done with the collective groans due to his over active immune system. The adult shepherd firmly stood and was bound towards the lookout now, his mind spitting more swears than his mouth could ever produce.
Back with the remaining squadron, the husky huffed and threw her head back on the soft grass. Looking to her left she couldn't help but smirk at the sight of a doozed friend.
