A rainy day V was in her house. She could still see a bit through her left eye, but could notice it getting worse every day. Not her eyesight but her mental health. Something harder to deal with than any other expensive surgery. She was sitting and listening, watching the rain as she realized;
"I've been alone for so long.. yet I have so many "friends". Maybe I could go visit one of them.."
She thought and thought, but Jumin was her first choice to see.
"Of course! My childhood friend who knows me best would help me."
She then attempted to email the company, instead of Jumin accidentally.
Jaehee then answered cheerfully and forwarded it to Jumin. They then proceeded to chat and when she was waiting for an answer after it had been a while for the next message, he had arrived in his limousine. He then invited her in.
There was a lot of small talk on the drive. They had even forgot each other's favorite colors. They arrived and V had a big smile on her face.
Jumin had been suffering from the same problem but suppressed it. He smiled a bit but tried not the let it show to keep professional.
She glanced back at Jumin and then tried to straighten her back and adjust herself to look professional.
She walked in and had almost forgotten how large his house was.
Suddenly an accidental "wow!" Came from under her breath as she looked up to the chandelier.
Jumin remembered her smile from even when they were young.
"I'm glad to see you haven't forgotten about me, haha."
He said.
"I know we haven't seen each other in a while but-"
She was interrupted.
"Are you here for money or to arrange something?"
It slightly offended her.
"No.. I just wanted to see you."
Jumin then was puzzled.
"Are you sure?"
He asked without thinking.
"Of course I am sure."
She responded.
