The Wall Between Us...

Chapter 1

I was called in for work today that I would be body guarding someone new. I have done this before so I'm not really worried. People may think I'm to young to be a body guard be it is legal and my parents set me up for it, but this time, it felt different. It was as if something special was gonna happen.

Something Different.

I was in the the meeting room but nobody was there. "Hello? I'm here for the call?" Then I heard foot steps walking towards the door and it was my boss Mr.Johnson. "Oh! I apologize for being late Mr.....?" I was confused when he stopped his sentence but then realized where he was going. "Oh! You can just call me Aaron" I give a small genuine smile. "Ok then Aaron I called you to ask you to guard a student ... that goes to your school..."
I give him a confused look and he realizes this and goes back to talking. "Her name is Thea Carson and she is in grade 12 and is 17 years old and I made sure you two were in the same classes so it would be easier for
you but there is some things you need to know... you can't tell her your her body guard so you'll have to keep it a secret and it will be like this until we catch the threat, there is something after her but she can't find out cause it will make it worse but her parents know. Is that okay with you? She is only one year younger so I think it might be easy for you two to get along." I tell him that I'm ready and that I'll try to find more Information about her and before I leave I catch a quick glance and he says "Tell me if anything happens and contact me immediately, ok?" "Yes Mr.Johnson I will..." I nod and wave him a goodbye before walking down the hallway and out the door. I get home and see that my parents are fighting but not physically it verbal just talking because they are wealthy,rich, civil people. People I dislike.and as I said, I don't want to get involved so I just run up to my room to finish up some homework. When I finish up my mom comes up and checks up on me, "hey Aaron,have you done your homework?well, me and your dad are going to go out to solve some problems" I nod before she leaves and decide to find some information on Thea, so I search up her name and look through her social media and I know...stalker much. But it's for her own safety I tell myself while getting ready for sleep. I soon fall asleep before I here something creak through my door. I see a human figure but pretend I'm sleeping so they don't notice but I'm not sure if this is a dream.
"Aaron...I know your awake..."
