Terrifying Underneath

The New Kid

It was a regular day at Hills High School when Jessica notices something different. It was lunch and everyone was gathered around where, normally, nobody would be. Curious, Jessica walks towards this large crowd of people wondering what had caught everyone's attention?

Now she sees it, or rather he. He was handsome. He was quite strange looking as he was tall, had black hair, and a symmetrical face. Everyone else looked pretty standard with their unchanging blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin. When she finally caught a glimpse of his green eyes, he caught hers. They stared into eachother's eyes as the seconds flew by. The bell rang, breaking the trance they were in.

Throughout the day she couldn't stop thinking of him. The bell rang to go home, and still he wouldn't leave her mind. Nearing her house, the new kid starts walking towards her, as if a wish she never asked for had come true.

"Hey i saw you in the morning didn't I?"

She didn't know what to say, but with a huge smile replied, "Yea, I saw you"

"What's your name?"

"My name's Jessica, yours?"

"I'm Logan, and I just moved here from Arizona, and was hoping someone could maybe show me around?"

"Oh sure, umm we can meet up tomorrow in the morning in the front of the school?"

"I'll see you there" He winked, and walked away.

Being filled with emotions she didn't know what to feel; happy, nervous, excited, or scared.

She finally got home, and of course had to explain to her mother why an enormous smile was plastered upon her 16 year old daughter's face.

That night she couldn't stop herself from thinking about Logan. She was overwhelmed with the excitement of what tomorrow will bring.
