Almost a month of school had passed and Jessica and Logan were the best of friends. They told eachother everything there was to tell, but still Jessica felt as if she didn't know much about Logan. She knew Logan's birthday was coming up but nothing about it was ever mentioned between them until a friday afterschool...
"HEY JESSICA WAIT UP!" Logan raced across the quad to catch up to Jessica, "hey my birthdays coming up and I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house that day?"
Logan had been to Jessica's house far than enough times, her mom loved him! But Jessica had always wondered when Logan would invite her to his house, she just always presumed his parents must not want girls over or something like that.
"Of course I want to go to your house! Its your 18th! I wouldn't miss it for the world!"
"Great, well see you tomorrow! I can't go to your house today."
"Aw why not?"
"Umm... I need to... clean my room, its really dirty."
"Alright then see you tomorrow morning at my house. DONT FORGET."
"Forshure, I won't." He waved goodbye as he raced to who-knows-where and Jessica walked in the opposite direction to get picked up.
