Lets me start at the beginning. There was a war going on across the ocean from we're I lived and I only had my grandma because my mom died when I was 5 and my dad got sent to war.

I liked the thought of war and I always wanted to see it in real life. So one night I snuck out and went to Sam's (my cousin that owns a helicopter) and begged him to take me on a helicopter ride over the ocean.

I guess I was really annoying and he finally said yes. I was so happy! So we hopped into his helicopter and began our journey over the ocean. I was so excited I didn't care that his helicopter had one side missing and I didn't care if I got cold. We buckled up and started going up.

Once we were to the ocean he asked if I was ready and I answered yes! So we started across the ocean. Once we got about a quarter into the ocean Sam said we should get heading back because it was getting dark, but I said a little farther. So we kept going.

It was getting pretty dark, but I wanted to get as close as I could to the war going on on the other side of the ocean. We got half way when we started hearing planes. We didn't know they were war planes.

We started heading toward one of the planes, but then there was the sound of a gun and breaking glass and then pain. I had been shot. I tried to call for Sam but I couldn't do it. I was dying!

He turned around to see what happened and he saw me lying on the floor with a bullet in my stomach. He got up and tried to get me to stand up, but then everything started going down and then we hit water and everything went blank. The last thing I saw was Sam dead beside me.
