The ship Kylie sat on was being pulled. A storm raged around the blond, making her scream. When she finally went under, she pleased with death. Don't make me die she pleaded, with wishes for a miracle. Suddenly, the water seemed to hesitate. Hope blossomed in her chest as the water froze. An unknown voice seemed to make it's way into her head. Are you sure? You have to be sure. It spoke to Kylie. The girl was sinking deeper and deeper into the waters as she thought that she was sure. 100% sure.
Suddenly, the girl could breathe. She breathed in water. The water was like oxygen. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. She focused on breathing. When she looked up, she was surprised to see two, beautiful girls in front of her. Breathing. In water.
A brunette with stunning green eyes and freckles introduced herself. "My name is Laura. I know you're probably very frightened, I was too. But there is now need to be afraid. The ocean is your friend. She needs food. You will serve her for 100 years as a siren, taking people life by sea. You will learn sign language, as your voice is deadly. Speak to anyone, and they will drown themselves. If you sing, ships will sink. You are powerful. When your a hundred years is up, then and only then will you be free. Defying the ocean is not a option. There are consequences to your actions." Her last words sat in the air, vicious, and warning.
My child, there is no reason to fear. I am here for you. You are my siren, now, powerful and silent. You can do it. The oceans words rang out across the girls' ears.
The other girl, with dark skin, and perfect black hair looked at her. "Ignore my rudeness, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Caulie. Pleasure to meet you. You will have perfect looks for your time as a siren to help you lure people to sea." She smiled. "How about we go to land?"
Kylie smiled weakly. "I'd like that very much.
