NOAH SCHNAPP ~ GIFTED

•CHAPTER FOUR•

"Well crap.", I said amazed. He just raised his eyebrows and smiled. "Well that was a little intense.", he said. "Why are we the most awkward people ever?", I asked in a funny tone. We stood up from the slide then Noah said,"I really don't know." All of a sudden, I heard the ice cream truck jingle. Noah and I exchanged smiles and ran up to the truck. "Chocolate sprinkle cone!", we said in unison, then laughed. The guy handed us our cones then we decided to sit on a the swings. I was always kind of a slow eater so Noah finished before me. "Hey.", he said, looking over toward me. He continued, "Can I have the rest of yours?!" "Oh hell no!", I said. "Pweaseeee.", he begged, giving me puppy eyes. "Fine.", I said, holing my cone out. He put his head towards the cone to lick it, then I shoved it in his face. We started laughing hysterically. And Noah took the ice cream cone and wiped it onto my face because I was off guard from the uncontrollable laughing.
We spent about another hour at the park, then it started getting dark so we went back home. Noah wanted to meet my family so I let him come into my house before he went home. We rang the doorbell and my mom opened the door. "Hey, honey.", she said, then looked at Noah. "Oh! Hi Noah! Would you like to come in?", my mom said. "Well I have to be home for dinner soon, but thanks anyways.", noah replied nicely. "What is on your faces?", my mom asked disgusted. "We got into an ice cram fight.", I said, which caused Noah to laugh. "Oh... umm... okay then.", my mom said. Noah got a text from his mom. "Sorry, I got to go. My mom wants me home.", noah said. "Bye noah! Nice meeting you!", my mom shouted. "You too, mrs. nicholson!", noah replied. "He's a keeper.", my mom said, winking. "Mom!!", I exclaimed, annoyed. I went into my house, ate, did my homework, washed up, then went to bed.
