"You're going to the party tonight isnt it?"the man from the other line asks, though actually he didnt have to ask for he already knows the answer.

Luna had received a call from her friend just when she was about to enter her house on her way back from school. It was around 2pm or so.

Luna lazily shakes off her shoes, "Yeah well I do,since Jimin begs me to." She walks in into her house, as soon as she reaches her couch ,she jumps on it after throwing away her bag on the floor.

"Great. Lets go together then." the boy lazily replies. Luna chuckles at him. "Why? Not going with your girlfriend?" ,she sighs contently from the other line , finally gets to lay down after a tough day at school.

"I broke it off with that bitch.", the boy replies with an obvious snicker.

"I guess shes one of those typical girls again. Poor you." Luna laughs mockingly at him.

"Yeah well, shes worst. So clingy, that bitch." , he bitterly comments. Luna can totally hear the unsatisfaction of his. "If only you didnt accept that midget, you could have been my girlfriend instead."

At that, Luna laughs wholeheartedly. That wasnt the first that had came from her male bestfriend. She knew well about his feelings for her yet never even an ounce of liking him more than a friend.

"Yah Vernon, we talked about this already.", Luna listens to the boy groaning annoyingly on the phone.

Poor boy always being friendzoned at.

"But seriously. Lets go together, to the party." he lazily talks again.

"And Jimin?"

"What about him?"

"The last thing I want to happen is you two starts throwing punches with each other right infront of my face."

"I wont start if that midget knows how to keep his hands to himself. That midget only knows how to try to pick a with me."

"Enough calling him midget Vernon. His name is  Jimin."

Vernon sighs loudly, telling Luna for how annoyed he is right now. Just mentioning Jimin's name had cut his temper shorter than ever.

"That fucking Jimidget."

"Vernon.", Luna calls his name, a bit sounding like a warning.

"Jimin", he says softly. And Luna just laughs at him again, knowing of how much of cringiness he had to bare just to spit out her boyfriend's name.

One thing for sure is that ,Luna hoped that one day her male bestfriend and her boyfriend can get along with each other despite being the worst enemies at school, still wont give up with that hope just yet.

She thinks it will work out, if both boys could actually try to befriend with one another at least a bit of effort to not glare at one another for seconds.

Something click in Luna's head, "Ill make sure both of you will be laughing your ass off tonight while pouring each other drinks sitting on one table rather than growling and clawing at each others neck." she states her will, cheekily.

"Luna, dont put your hopes too high. You know thats never gonna happen even in a million years.", the boy says, groaning fot the nth times.

"Ohooo, I am still going to try."

"Whatever Luna, well Ill come and pick you up later. See ya.", with that the boy hangs up.

The party isnt about to start for another eight hours.  While waiting for the time to come, Luna decides she should start finish writing down her History notes which her teacher had given them homework to do and also to finish up her maths work papers.

Just like how Vernon had asked, Luna had got herself ready to leave her house since her friend said he'll pick her up 30 minutes earlier. Before that, she had also told Jimin that she'll be going to the party with Vernon instead. When she did told him that, she can obviously tell that Jimin was really upset, but nevertheless just let her be. Since Vernon is her bestfriend despite the other boy being his worst enemy.

It took less than 15 minutes to arrive to the party which was held at one of Jimin's friends house. It was actually quite far, but since Vernon had taken them there with his high power motorbike;which he rode like a fucking racer just as how Luna had expected, still she felt glad that they didnt got into an accident while on the way.

Thank god, she spare some mercy to not scream and shout right onto his ears, trying to make him go deaf. Though she really thinks he deserves it , because even when she begs him to slow down, Vernon ignored her.

(I am talking about the motorbike going fast you lil hoes)

Right now, Vernon and Luna had taken some seats right by the kitchen counters at the some-friends house. The party had already started since the sun went down. The house was crowded by mostly the students that goes to their school, also some adults acquintances of the house owner.

A sound of a boy clearing his throat grabs both Vernon's and Luna's attention, as they now look at the figure standing behind them.

"Hey Jimin baby ~" Luna calls out cheekily. Jimin gives her his sweetest eye smile but not for long as he glares at the other boy sitting there. Vernon too did the same but with a smirk on his face.

"Come and sit over here." Luna pulls his hand gently, asking him to sit at the empty high stool beside her, Luna in between bot boys. Jimin grimaces, "You expect me to sit here with that ", he glares at Vernon again, "Dipshit?", saying it out loud, emphasizing the word. Making Vernon's eye twitches in anger.

"Jimin, its Vernon."She sighs. "Stop degrading each other for fuck sake and seat here peacefully with me."

As if on cue, both boys scoffs at the same time. Then starts to shoot glares with each other again. Luna swore she saw the small obvious lightning connecting both their eyes.

Sighs.

"This is going to be a long night."

Despite that, she remembers back her slight hope. To make them have peace, well at least tonight.

"Okay~", she tries to break the tensions, grabbing the bottle of beer than pouring some into the red plastic cups. Pouring each for Jimin and Vernon.

She passes each to them, and instantly both of them chugging the drinks down their throats, with the never ending glares.

"Now now~ This aint some drinking race. We are here to make peace remember?", she sheepishly states.

Then again, both boys ends up grimacing at her, "Not in the million years!" both says unisonly, screeching at their loud voices.

"Jesus!" , she rubs both her ears.

Sighs.
