Jimin's POV

I groan, banging my head on a table of the convenience store that I am currently working at.

"When is my shift over...?" I whine and lift my head to look at Yoongi, my manager. He looked at his watch and smiled.

"In 5 hours," he replied bluntly. I whine again.

"Yoongi it's midnight!" He laughed and waved to the door.

"I'm kidding. You can leave." I jumped out of my chair, clocked out and bolted out the door with my bookbag (filled with various snacks and drinks I bought on my free time), waving a quick goodbye to the one who dismissed me. I ran as fast as I could to the veterinarian on the corner of the street and stopped running before I became one with the door. The owner, one of my friends, opened the door as I bent down to catch my breath.

"It's about time Jimin. Hoseok was getting worried." I smiled and bowed in apology, walking into the office.

"Sorry Taehyung-ah. Yoongi held me later than my normal shift." I headed to the back and smiled when I saw Hoseok laying down in his bed. When I walked in, his ears perked up and he came running towards me.

"Awww Hoseokie! Who's a good puppy?" He licked my face and barked happily. He was a beautiful golden retriever with more smiles then anyone could imagine on a dog.

"Yes, yes you are my sunshine!!" I stood and clocked in, putting on my pet coat and name tag after setting my bag down. I pet Hoseok once more and started to organize the shelf containing various foods for the animals. I currently have two jobs; the convenience store and the Veterinarian office. The convenience store was just some job that I started working when I needed to pay the first payments of rent when I moved here but the vet office was actually the place I delivered Hoseok to when I found him lying on the street one night, skinny and on the brink of death. Luckily, Taehyung had been my friend before he opened up the office and helped me bring him back to the strong and happy dog he was before.

After 20 minutes of silent organizing, Taehyung spoke.

"Hey Jimin?" I looked up and hummed. "My friend needs a place to stay 'cause he got kicked out of his house. I was wondering if you could let him stay at your house for a few months." He paused. "I would take him in myself but you know how busy I am with Jungkook and-"

"Taehyung if you don't shut your mouth, I'm going to shove a whole box of biscuits down your throat," I laughed. Hard.

"Of course I can Tae! Why would I say no?"

"If it's a girl," he quickly answered. I nodded and turned back to the task at hand.

"So when is he going to come over?"

"Tomorrow morning." I choked on air and turned to him.

"Tomorrow morning?? I need to clean! Why am I here??" He laughed as I clocked out and grabbed my bag.

"You chose to clock in so I have no idea why you're so surprised."

"You could of told me before!" He paused with his finger in the air and his mouth hanging open.

"You're right. Sorry." I wave him off as if to tell him it's okay.

"Come on Hoseok. Dad's got to clean the house for our new roommate tomorrow." I put his leash on him and waved to Tae.

"I'm gonna go. See you tomorrow evening!" He just nodded and I left.

When I got home, I immediately started to clean up the living room and the second bedroom that was used when Taehyung needed to crash at my place. By the time I was done, it was around 1:30 AM. I changed into some sweatpants, took off my shirt and collapsed onto my bed.

"Goodnight Hoseokie," I mutter before drifting to sleep.
