Taehyung's POV

"So uh, how's life?"

You stupid idiot! Who starts a conversation with their crush that way!? I mentally slap myself. I was sitting infront of Jin on our tea "date" carefully trying to make the situation less awkward for myself.

Obviously it didn't work.

"It's wonderful, thank you for asking. I tend to get a lot more people watching me play lately." He paused to take a sip of his drink before continuing. "How about you, my little animal doctor?"

"It's going good," I replied quietly, "The animals that are at the office are getting better." I paused. "I'm happy that they are, it's just I'm going to miss them." He nodded and took another drink. We had simple conversation and before we knew it, our drinks were already finished. That didn't stop us from talking though.

"So why did you ask me out?" He questioned, making me stop every single movement I was doing.

"I uh," Think idiot! Think! "I asked you out?" He laughed and I swear I died.

"Yes you did."

"O-oh. Well you see," I breathed in. "I have like this big crush on you and it took all of my energy to ask you yesterday without freaking out." I said in a messy rush. He raised a brow, making me hold my breath.

"Oh?" Realizing what I had actually said, I quickly gathered my things and stood.

"I'm really sorry. I should go." Then I left before he could utter a single word. I ran all the way to the office without stopping and barged in, breathing deeply.

"What happened to you?" I looked up to see Jungkook and waved my hand. It seems he was talking to one of the animals owners before I came in.

"Customers and animals first, me later," I muttered before heading to the back and putting on my coat.

"Okay..."

Jungkook POV

I watched Taehyung go to the back of the office with worried eyes.

"Just give him this every night just before he goes to bed because it causes drowsiness and make sure to keep the cone on his head to prevent him biting the wound," I continued. She smiled and picked up her small dog.

"Thank you so much Doctor Jeon!" I smiled back.

"You're very welcome Mrs. Lee. Have a nice day." Then she left. But before I could go to the back and question Taehyung, a quite attractive man walked in quite quickly.

"Oh hello. Can I help you with something?"

"May I speak with Taehyung?" I raised a brow.

"Why do you need to-"

"Hyung, why did you follow me here?" I spun around and saw Tae grabbing one of the clipboards hanging on the wall, not even bothering to look in the direction of the older.

"I wanted to apologize."

"There's no need for your apology," He answered bluntly. The older sighed.

"But still. I just-"

"Seokjin, please." He turned around, his eyes red and puffy. "Leave." 'Seokjin' stiffened and nodded, walking out the door. I blinked for a moment before turning to Taehyung.

"Care to explain what happened with Mr. Handsome over there?" I pointed towards the door with my thumb. He sniffled and placed the clipboard back on the wall.

"I told him that I had a crush on him." I leaned on the counter and cocked my head to the side questioningly.

"What did he say?"

"He just said "oh" and raised a brow. Like a dummy, I didn't realize I said that until afterwards and ran away." He threw his hands up in frustration at his situation.

"Let me put it this way." I lifted myself off of the counter and put my hand on his shoulder. "If he didn't like you, he wouldn't have ran after you." He looked at me accusingly.

"That's not the point Kook. I admitted having a crush on him accidentally instead of waiting and telling him that I like him."

"Don't beat yourself up over it. Once you guys start dating, this little even won't matter."

"What makes you think we'll start dating?" I shrugged and started to head to the back.

"The way he looked at you showed that he really likes you. His aura too." He huffed and grabbed a box.

"You aren't wrong," He admits, "Every time we meet he always is like, "How is my little animal doctor?" It's like he's constantly flirting with me." I jumped infront of him, making him curse lightly as he almost dropped the box.

"That's because he is! You really are dense sometimes."

Yup. I'm done making excuses. I'm hella lazy and don't update this story as I should. Anyway. It's a bit longer than my usual length of chapters (500-600 words) but yah know. I have to make it dramatic.
