Dante
"Good morning mom." I said coming into the kitchen and taking a seat at the counter.
"Good morning. Are you hungry?" She asked placing eggs on a plate.
"Yea I'm going to eat." She put a plate in front of me and I started eating.
I live with my parents and younger brother. He's 13 years old. My parents have very well paid jobs so I don't have to live in the hood or anything like that. My family is well kept. My father own a couple of businesses and my mother works for the hospital as a medical associate.
"Dante I need you here after school." My father said coming into the kitchen.
"Ok." My father is someone you don't really want to mess with. I'm no punk or anything I just don't question him.
He gave my mother a kiss before leaving out. I grabbed my Gucci book bag and keys.
"I'll see you later ma." I gave her a kiss on the cheek and left out. I got into my all black Bentley before pulling off and making my way to school. I turned on the radio and turned the volume up blasting Rich Homie Quan.
My parents wouldn't approve of this music because of the language and what the people talk about. But I like this music. My parents are strict but my mother isn't as bad as my dad. He tries to control my life and wants me to do things his way.
Once I made it to school, I parked and grabbed my book bag before getting out of the car. I pulled my hood over my head and walked through the school.
"Aye man." My home boy Carter said giving me dap.
"What's up Carter." We walked to class and I sat in my usual seat in the back with Carter. Carter is one of the few home boys I have. There's Tre, Kai, and Paul. They all cool. I met them through Carter because I knew Carter first.
I slumped down in my seat watching as the people came in.
"What you doing after school?" Carter asked me.
"I got to go home."
"You should come over."
"I'll see what I can do."
My friends have a lot of free will. They can live life the way they want to. I just wish I could do that. I live a sheltered life and I hate it.
"Bitch whatever. I told you I do what I want." I looked up and it was Kyah and her friends.
Kyah was loud, but she didn't care. She had a free spirit. I loved that about her. Kyah was cute and I actually kind of like her. I watched as she walked over to her seat and sat down talking to one of her friends.

I was on my way to lunch now. I was walking with Tre and Kai.
"I'm tryn' tell you bruh. That shit was just right." Kai said talking to Tre about girls.
We walked in the line and got our food. We walked to the table and sat down. A minute later Carter, and Paul walked over with Kyah and her friends.
"What's up niggas." Paul said giving us dap.
"What's good." I say. The girls sat down where there were seats left.
"Everybody this Kyah, Bria and Brandy." Paul said pointing at each one of them. "Y'all this Tre, Kai and Dante." Paul said pointing to each of us.
I nod my head and pulled out my phone to occupy myself. I'm not good with confrontation. I'd rather not talk and be open.
"You good over there Dante." Carter asked me. I look up and Kyah eyes were locked on me.
"Yea. I'm good." I put my phone in my pocket and drunk some of my juice.
"Are you new here?" Bria asked.
Carter laughed. "He's been here ever since freshman year." He said.
These people are unbelievable. They only see what they want. If you got money and flashy then they notice you.
"Your eyes are pretty." Brandy said.
"Thanks." I said lowly.
"You don't talk a lot do you?" Kyah said looking at me.
"Not really." I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm goin go. I'll talk to y'all later." I grabbed my stuff and quickly left out. All the attention on me was too much.
