Her room was simple but it did have pink in it. She flopped down on her bed and took her shoes off. I stood there like an idiot not knowing where to sit.

"You can sit down. I don't have anything." She said as she pulled out books from her bag.

I sat on the edge of the bed and pulled my hoodie off. I sat it to the side as I grabbed my book bag. I looked up and Kyah was staring at me.

"What?" I asked looking at her. It kind of made me feel self conscious.

"You have a tatoo." It seem more like a statement than a question.

"Yea. It's just some words." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"How come I never see you around school." She said.

"I'm real laid back and I don't like to be noticed." I said. She was looking at me like she was staring into my soul which made me uncomfortable.

I opened my book and went to the homework problems.

"So which number you need help on." I asked looking at her.

Kyah

"Do you really want to do this?" I was laying on my stomach on the bed. I'm already bored with this.

"You asked me to help you with it." He said looking at me.

"I did, but I lied." I said. He looked at me confused.

"Lied about what?" He asked.

"I don't need help. I just wanted to hang out." I lied. I could care less about this.

"With me." He said pointing to himself.

"Well I think your cute. I just wanted to get to know you." I sat up shrugging my shoulders and looked at him.

"I don't know what to say." He began putting his stuff away. I sighed. This is going to be harder than I thought.

"You don't have to leave." I told him.

"I think I should go." I grabbed his arm.

"Lets just hang out as friends." This is the hardest I had to try and It's a lot of work. He looked at me like he was thinking on what he should do.

"Aight. I can stay for a while." He sat back down.

I turned on the TV and put a movie on. The rest of the time we just sat and talked. We joked around. He was stand offish at first but he warmed up after a while. He was cool but I have to stay focused on the game.
