Lenore POV:

I had come across a pile of flesh and guts covered in blood that once resembled a human. The smell was revolting and saddening. It seemed as if it was mauled to death by an animal..

Mommy...

12 years ago...

6-year old Lenore:

My breathing became steadier until I could feel my body relaxing into slumber.

Before I could close my eyes, a loud screeching scream interrupted.

I pulled the sheets quickly away from my body and slipped on my bunny slippers running for the strange scream. I kept a strong hold on my teddy.

Something is wrong...

Once I came upon the door, I opened it only to show a crack of light. But I was only greeted by red substance oozing through the door wetting my pijamas.

What is that....? I smelled the air...

Copper.....

The same smell when I cut my knee...

I threw the big wooden door open with all my small strength only to stare in horror.

"KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

Mother's body laid in front of the burgundy bed slouched...covered in red.

Her stomach was torn open revealing her half eaten guts and scratches adorned her pale arms.

Her mouth looked as if she was screaming before she died and her blue eyes were blurry with tears.

Blood and more blood surrounded her making it impossible to figure out if it was really her.

But I knew better. Under all that blood I could still make out the strawberry hair..

I let go of Mr. Rhode and ran to my deceased mother with open arms.

"OKASAMAAAA!!!!!!...."
(Mother)

I slipped on her bodily fluids a couple of times but I never gave up until I made it to her.

I dropped in front of her making a loud splashing and gushing sound under me.

I reached for her face with my clean hand and lifted it delicately towards me.

My hand soon became covered in the goey substance making it hard to hold her face.

Until it slipped out of my grasp and she fell to her side.

I straightened her up back to her original position and moved her lips in an effort to make her talk but no words came out.

"SAY SOMETHING !!!!!PLEASE!!ANYTHING!!! ILL BE A GOOD GIRL I SWEAR!!"
