I slowly made my way around the mansion exploring every room since being in a silent room by myself wasn't an option.

I kept taking breaks in between my 'journey' to avoid any more bleeding.

This particular mansion had 17 rooms, 7 bathrooms, a basement, a wine cellar, a ballroom and 4 towers that were kept locked at all times. Not to mention most of the rooms were either guest rooms or for recreational use.

This was bigger than back at home...

I was beginning to feel homesick once again.

I sighed...

I walked into the Music room by mere luck after frolicking through the dimly lit halls.

The music room had royal blue drapery hung all over the celling and golden hand stitched music signs on the drapery. All of the instruments were cherry wood and silver plated, perfectly aligned in their corresponding spots.

Not to mention an old mural painted all over the room.

One instrument that I locked my eyes on was the violin.

I plopped on the cushioned stool and adjusted the violin on my chin. As I took my bow in my hand a memory came to mind.

(Flashback)
12 year old Lenore-

"Oh yes! My sweet girl ! Go on, show these lovely guests what you've learned from me." My music instructor asked.

He stood behind me touching me inappropriately on my back before I started to play.

My step-mother had insisted on me using my 'talents' as a way to find a wealthy suitor thus I always had a recital at important events such as weddings or coronations.

I bit my lip, but soon after started to play.

My mother's lullaby; Suo Gan, a Welsh Lullaby that was since passed down to her when she was a child.

I tried my best to hold back tears.

I wanted my mother to be proud of me.

When I finished, I set my violin down on my lap as I waited for the clapping to stop.

I held my chin up as I looked around the room bowing in return to the claps.

"See I've told you good people that this beauty can do just about everything! Hahaha! She's very special indeed." My music teacher smirked and gave me a lustrous stare as he also bowed.

He took me by my arm and led me backstage as the clapping stopped.

"It was not perfect Lenore. You made a mistake on Line 34. It seems more classes will have to be in order. Now leave, you are not needed anymore." He said coldly as he shoved past the people and took me outside to my carriage.

"It was lovely seeing you again, love." He kissed my cheek and grabbed my waist to pull me closer to him.

I immediately slapped him. Only to see his blue turquoise eyes widen.

I instantly felt his grasp on my arm tighten once again, his white wig now shriveled as his anger increased.

"Do not hit me little girl. I will do as I wish, it doesn't matter because no one will care or believe you!" He screamed as I tried my best to wrestle out of his grasp.
