The first cut wasn't the deepest. nothing like the others. anxious skin, craving the pulse of a cold tiny blade.

Each time it ran across your skin, it allows  you to let out the pain that was trapped inside.

Tears began to fall down your cheeks.

There's no stopping now. the blade began to feel a little harder, go a little deeper. leaning over the porcelain tub. a beautiful white, now stained red.

"baby?" you heard a voice whisper behind you.

You turned your head, and there stood your boyfriend. Asa.Tears forming in his eyes as well. he looked at you, then at your arm, and back up at you again.

You wanted to tell him how sorry you were. But no words were coming out of your mouth.

Your vision was trouble and your eyes were slowly closing..

He started panicking thinking about losing you.. what has he done wrong ,only if he could have received the signs you gave him.

As he was trying to wake you up. He called 911, fear rising in the tone of his voice, and wrapped your wrist in a soft beige towel.

"you can't leave me, I need you" he repeated with tears streaming down his cheeks over and over until the medics came.

Was it too late?

His voice fills my ears,"Y/n? Hold on. I'm here."

I hear him crying. And whispering. And more talking.

I feel someone hook their arms under my knees and neck. Lifting me up, holding me close, and carrying me.

I try to speak, but no words were coming out clearly

"Don't worry, it's ok. I've got you, I'm sorry. I've got you, I'm so sorry." I hear Asa's voice say, he sounded far away.

But I wanted it to be near.

Cloudy.

everything fades fully into black and my surroundings go silent.

She had to save herself because no one saved her when they could .she had to get rid of the pain. At this point, her life line went straight.

She's free now.
