Delirious Pov...

Before I knew what was happening, the bright light consumed me and everything else around me and took me back to the forest I was in before. As I saw the same creek, same trees, same everything, minus one thing. There was a small wisp of blue fire about 10 feet in front of me. At this point, I realized I was sitting on the ground.

As I looked towards the small wisp, I noticed that it had been motioning for me to come near it. I got up and slowly inched towards the little ball of fire and reached my hand out towards it once I was close. As I came closer towards it, it seemed like it was trying to do a motion like it was holding out its hand or something.

But there was something strange about the blue wisp that seemed oddly familiar to me... I didn't really know what it was but as soon as I reached out my hand and touched my finger to the little flame. As soon as I touched it, it disappeared and soon saw blue flame appearing from the ground. I ran scared that something was going to happen and hid behind a rock that was close by.

As soon as I peeked around the corner I was shocked to see a man in a military uniform staring back at me with blue eyes the color of the wisps fire; a dark blue with sky blue flecks. I come out from behind the rock slowly dragging my hand just in case because I didn't know what would happen if I got closer.

"Do you know who I am Jonathon?" the man asked me. I was honestly scared to death to ask him who he was but I also didn't know what would happen if I didn't say something.

For some reason, the man seemed really familiar to me, but I didn't know why...

"Not really, but you seem really familiar to me for some reason... Can you tell me who you are?" I asked him, but he didn't say anything, just motioned towards his neck. Wait...why would he motion towards his neck?

I reach towards my neck and feel the chain underneath my shirt. Wait... how would he know that was there? Does that mean? I look towards the man with shock and I see him staring back at me with a huge smile plastered on his face.

"Are you.... my father?" I ask him. All he does is slowly nod in response. As soon as he finishes nodding I ran up to him and hugged him as tight as possible. I didn't even realize that I had started crying so I had tears streaming down my face by the time that he had started squeezing me from the hug.

But the moment didn't last long when I heard something coming. I panicked and changed into my raccoon form hiding behind my father...it's so weird saying that, but now I can see him whenever. I peek out from behind him just to see what made all of the noise that scared me.

I was really surprised to see that the reason why a lot of noise was being made from all of the trees and bushes was that a family of deer had came out of the woods into the clearing. A full sized buck, two fawns, and a doe came out of the woods and just stood in the middle of the clearing staring at us.

I came out from behind my father to go pet them but I remembered that I was still a little raccoon. So after changing back to human form, I slowly walked towards them at a lower level so that I wouldn't scare them so much, which didn't really work, sort of...

The doe and buck got defensive of both of the fawns and stepped in front of both of them. I go into my half hybrid form to show that I'm not trying to harm them, I just wanted to get close to them. For some reason, both the doe and buck seemed t understand what I was thinking, but I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to my dad.

"Go on son, it's okay," he said, but as sure as I was, I still felt off about it. I kept my half form while inching my way closer to them. As I was nearing the edge of the clearing, the doe starting walking towards me. I held my hand out as if holding something out palm up and she closed her eyes and rested her chin on top of my hand.

My face lit up immediately but I stayed still. I had never been near a deer before let alone touched it. I could tell my dad was proud of me since he had a huge grin on his face, and let me tell you, I was proud of myself. The doe walked further towards me, lifting her head up further towards mine. My moment of awkwardness didn't really last long once she started looking at me because soon I felt a fuzzy head leaning on mine.

I was on the verge of squealing because of how amazing this was, But instead, I kept quiet and just started petting her neck and head. Only a few seconds after so doing so, rustling was heard from the bushes, she or the buck didn't move an inch. Only once I looked towards the bushes from where the noise came from and was terrified.

Shadows looking like black goo attacked the deer... all of them. The fauns, the buck, and the doe right in front of me. I started hearing evil laughter fading from the area then as if it was right next to me. The shadows started forming a figure in the middle of the clearing as my father started moving towards me in a protective manner.

Once the shadows started creating a figure that looked like a man almost, my father sprouted angels wings and spread them as far as he could in a protective way. Not knowing what was happening I fell on the ground starting to crawl backward. Only to fall down a hill hearing my dad scream as I tumble down and down. Hitting a tree on my way down, everything is spinning as I suddenly black out.

Time skip... 4 hours later

I woke up back home, laying on Evan's bed with bandages over my arms and my left thigh, trying to sit up I let out a squeak, only to see Evan jerk his head up in surprise, grabbing my hand and telling me not to move and take it easy. "Ev? What are you doing here?" I ask, wondering why he was so concerned. "Because some random guy in a uniform came here and told us that he saw you tumble down a hill and you asked him to bring you here before you passed out! Who was it? Do you know who it was?" Evan kept talking and talking before I grabbed his face and said I don't know.

He quickly dropped the subject and got up to sit on the edge of the bed I was on.

"I was just so worried about you Jon... I didn't want to lose my best friend. I was so scared."

"Don't worry Evan, I'm right here with you. I always will be no matter what. I promise."
