Fuck. I thought to myself. I knew that voice. It was creepy, and weird and it sent shivers down my spine. I thought he was dead.

"What? Upset because your little boyfriend is a pussy and left on his gang?" I turned to see the familiar face of Enrique glaring at me.

"I-I.." I began.

"You what?" He said, shoving me against the car, his hand around my neck. "You thought I was dead, didn't you? Well, I got news for you, bitch, I'm alive, and out for blood; especially your sweet blood. I won't kill you first. I might kill a few people, and then you. Or maybe I should just kill you right now to save myself the trouble." He held up a knife to my neck. It was cold and I began to feel it cut into my neck. I bit my lip, trying not to scream because I know it would only make things worse.

"You know what? I'll take it easy on you. I've decided not to kill you yet. I want someone else's blood first." He said, pushing me away and making me fall to the ground. I looked up at his haunting blue eyes, and he said: "You'll be hearing a lot from me. Don't you dare tell Zayn, because I'll kill you and him both. You wouldn't want your baby to not have a mom, right? I mean, his daddy has already gone...would it really make a difference? Keep your little mouth shut, dear." He spat and then drove off, leaving me in the dark with a blown tire.

Today was the day. Zayn was finally letting me help. I was told to 'dress hot' so that I could 'lure' the guys on the opposing gangs in, as if they were fish or something. I tried to 'dress hot', but I wasn't having any hope, especially with Leo crying. I tried to calm him down, but it was no use; he was teething. I called for help.

Twenty minutes later, Kacey's familar face was at my door. She hugged me and then ran inside.

"Okay, well first, here's for Leo's teething," she held a round ice pack, "and this," she said, holding up a silver box, "is to make you look sexy." She gave Leo the ice pack and he stopped crying almost instantly. I felt relief come through me.

"Okay," Kacey said, sitting me down on my toilet seat and grabbing a chin, "Honey, you have a naturally hot essence to you, but being a mother has really made you..uhm, look stressed."

"Thanks.." I said, laughing and rolling my eyes. We both laughed for a minute.

"Okay, now I'm going to start on your face. I'm using a purple primer first, to take away your dark spots. Then, I'm using a clear primer to help your foundation stay on and not mess up. I'm telling you all this because you will need to do your own makeup, so I'm going to leave everything here when I'm done. I can go get more. Okay, now, you can use a setting powder, but I just use corn starch, it stays on better. Okay, now, I'm going to use highlighter and conceiler to help fix those...little blemishes..and now your eyes! You know how to do a smokey eye?"

"Of course." I chuckled.

"Okay, well do a gray smokey eye, then do a simple wing. Like this!" She showed me her perfect winged eyeliner. "And then you add some mascara...and some blush...and a bold red lipstick...There! Perfect." She said, ushering me to the mirror. I saw someone who I didn't recognize. She looked so...dangerous and mysterious. Her hair was straightened and teased, her eyes were dark and full of..sadness; a familiar sadness. I saw Kacey wiping her eyes.

"Kacey, why are you crying? It looks awesome!" I said reassuringly.

"No, Juliet. I'm so worried for you. What you're doing is incredibly...brave."

I hugged her. "I'll be fine."

She hugged me tighter. "I sure hope so. What are you wearing, do you know?"
