CHAPTER THREE ~ Complete Darkness

CHAPTER THREE

It was completely dark and we were all terrified. The whole school was panicking. All I could hear was screaming and the sound of Charissa and Xander still asking me "what secret Lizzy" in complete darkness I wanted to run away but where, I couldn't see anything! After they were asking what secret, Lily was still talking in the voice, the voice that sounded like a spirit crawled into her, an old man! She kept on saying "tell them Lizzy" over and over. I wanted to just crawl up in a ball and just cry, I didn't want to tell them anything.

Just when I thought it was all over I heard Lily again she talked in her own voice she said "come on Lizzy tell them your special secret that you have been keeping to yourself all this time". Again I didn't want to, but I kept thinking how does she know the secret? I haven't told anyone since 3rd grade and only then I told my pet goldfish Beyoncé. Not even my mother or father know about this. Katy and Jackson don't even know.

I sat down I heard something suspicious. It was coming from down the hall, and I had to go to it to see what was going on but the lights were out and the only thing I saw was a light coming from the history class. I thought to myself I didn't see that a couple of minutes ago. Then I heard a scream, the same scream I heard on the phone this morning (what Lily said) "Oh my god there it is" that was the perfect time to see what Lily meant. Then I heard a shutter then the light went out and the screaming just stopped.

"What is going on, this is like a blackout, WHY"! I heard from around the corner.

Charissa was screaming then Xander calmed her down. Oh i didn't mention they are dating. Actually they met in grade 5 then we all became best friends! Now it's grade 9. Now that we are mentioning boyfriends Drake Clarke (Lily's boyfriend) is in 10th grade and he is the kind of boy who keeps to himself but then when he is only with Lily, me, Charissa, and Xander he likes to be the center of attention.

Back to the point, when Charissa stopped screaming the lights flickered but what we saw was completely un-natural! It was as if we were in another world. In the whole school there was me, Charissa, Xander, Lily, Taylor, McKenzie (the class president), and Jean (the shy girl in school that hides in the shadows). Then there was a shadow creature in the corner by the girls washroom. It was like an alien but it wasn't it was something completely different. It looked up at me and Lily and said in a creepy voice "it's coming for you guys, you can't run, you can't hide, but you have the power to stop it, you know what to do, SO DO IT"!

Now we where all in a group, all seven of us. I heard McKenzie say "oh my god can i wake up now, the election is tomorrow"! It was like she didn't even care that we were all in terrible danger, i guess she thought it was all a dream.

"Charissa was whispering to me "what was that thing talking about, do you know what to do Lizzy"?

All i said back to her was "no i don't, Lily do you"? She didn't answer until we heard that screaming again once it was done she said "no but i'm sure we will figure this out". After we all talked all about what was going on, the lights turned back on. It was like no time passed but then, a mysterious wind came out of all the class rooms and the lockers, the funny this was it wasn't windy, the air conditioning wasn't on, the windows weren't open, and the doors were locked, what was going on!
