(Back to Jirah's POV)

Ever since the day I met Gray, my life was wonderful. Everyday I would go to the peach tree, his mom's library, or his house. I basically was always at the village after magic lessons.

One day he took me to his moms library and it was full of magic books. I would check out about 17 books everyday and learned all of it by just looking at it. Not only did they have magic books they had books about dragons and other mythical creatures so I often checked a couple of those out. HIs mom one day said "Are you Royalty? Or some type of magic genius?" I asked "Why?" She then said "Because I have never seen a kid read that many magic books in my whole life time."

I just sat there thinking of a lie or clever way to say the truth but at the same time not tell the entire truth. Then I thought of something and I said "I was checking the books out for the slayer king to enhance the magical powers in him.." while I have an awkward smile. She was shocked and stared at me and said "You know the twins!!" I said "yes fairly well." I mean I wasn't lying just not saying the entire truth.

She believed it but Silver, Gray's dad was way smarter than to believe that. He took me to a bookshelf far out of earshot of his wife then said to me "I used to be a magic instructor in magic circle class 101, I can tell you have a lot more magic then meets the eye."

I stood their and he said he wouldn't let me go home unless I told him how I have such a large amount of magical aura so I spilled the beans to him and he stared at me not like I was an idiot like most of these villagers would look at me if I told them, but he looked at me with understanding.

He showed me the magic practice room and all of the things people tested their magic on so they could enhance their ability. There were many wonders in the library so many secrets that were waiting be discovered or already had been discovered. It was incredible, but then I realized I hadn't told Gray I knew magic.

He was my only friend and I hadn't told him anything. On the other hand.... we had only known each other for a month, in the winter time. When spring came my life had discovered a major secret that was unlocked by my heart.
