"Alright, speak." Boruto said with cold eyes, they're at the examination room where they keep the guy who attacked the village yesterday, Naruto is with him along with shikamaru and takeshi.
The man only look at him with his dull eyes, as if he's not even alive. Boruto took one step closer and then the man screamed all of a sudden and that startled boruto and the others. "The hell...?" Boruto feel something odd about this guy.
"Are you alright, boruto?" Naruto ask, worriedly.
"Y-yeah..." Boruto said.
"Boruto." Takeshi called, boruto turned his head and look at him.
"What?" He asked.
"I'd like you to try somehing." Takeshi said as he comes closer to boruto.
"What is it?" Boruto asked as he look at Takeshi with a questioning look.
"Activate your jougan, let's see how he'll react." Takeshi said, boruto nod as he closed his right eye and opens them with his jougan activated.
Then the man suddenly lift his head up and stare at boruto for awhile then suddenly he said "moon" and he repeat that again and again. This is creeping Boruto as well as the others. "Alright, what do you want?" Shikamaru asked this time. And the man repeat what he said 'moon'.
They go on for like an hour like this till Naruto sighed and said. "We're not getting anywhere like this." Naruto said, earning an agreeable look from shikamaru and takeshi, boruto raised his eyebrow and look at takeshi who only gives him a 'what' look.
"If we can't get any information about him, then let's just kill him." Boruto suggest, earning a surprise look from Naruto and shikamaru. They didn't expect him of all people to suggest that.
Takeshi sighed. "Let's just throw him somewhere." Takeshi said, boruto do some hand signs but then Naruto stopped him, "what?" Boruto asked confused. "Are you really going to kill him? Let's just lock him where-" boruto cut him of.
"It'll be pointless, trust me dad, we've been through this before. " boruto said as he roll his eyes. Now boruto continue with his hand sign and a portal appeared behind the man and just like that the man got sucked inside that portal and who knows where it'll lead him.
"W-where did he go?" Shikamaru asked.
"On the other side." Boruto simply said and Naruto sighed.
"I actually thought you were going to kill him." Naruto said.
"Well, I'm not the one who'll kill him, it'll be some random monster." Boruto said and got out of the room.
The others follow. "Boruto, I want to talk to you now, alone, in my office." Naruto said in has a serious tone. Boruto look at takeshi who nods. The two blond proceed to the hokage's office.
"So... What'd you wanna talk about -ttebasa?" Boruto asked, it's silent for a minute and Naruto took a deep breathed before starting.
"Boruto, from now on, I want you to tell me everything that's happening to you, I know I kept ignoring you and I'm sorry and I know my sorry won't make you're situation better but I promise that I'll do anything that I can to help and to protect you, you're my son and I don't want something bad happens to you, alright? So don't hesitate this time. Okay?" Naruto said and smile warmly at boruto and hugged him.
"I'm your father and you're my only son, so let me help you, boruto." Naruto said, boruto was shocked, especially when his dad hugged him. But it felt nice that his dad still cares about him.
Boruto raise his arms slowly and place them on Naruto's back giving him a hug as well. "s-sure, I promise." Boruto said through the hug and can't help but smile.

Boruto P.O.V
"Boruto, are you alright? You're smiling like an idiot for quite sometime now." Sarada said as she look at him.
Boruto just look at sarada with a smile oh his face and left sarada, confused, mitsuki approach sarada who's looking at boruto weirdly.
"He looks like he's having a good day." Mituski said with a smile on his face. Sarada thought if Mitsuki's smily face is contagious or something, sarada just shrugged and buy something to drink.
Boruto went to the forest to meet up with takeshi, he can't wait to tell what happened. When he arrives at the spot where they suppose to meet he immediately saw takeshi who's sitting on the grass. Boruto called him and takeshi stands up and stroke boruto's hair.
"Takeshi, y'know what?" Boruto said looking at takeshi with a smile on his face. "What?" Takeshi asked. "I just had the best day of my life." He said dramatical, spreading his arms in the air. He sat under a tree and takeshi followed.
Boruto tell him everything that happened, and while they had that conversation boruto's smile is getting wider as he remember that events. Takeshi smile along with him and pat his head saying "told you, he cares." And boruto nods his head.
When takeshi noticed that it was getting dark they both decided to go home and continue the story for tomorrow. Boruto went home and to his surprise Naruto was there when he got home. This could've been the best day for boruto.
