Things to Remember; Gods need Friends

 Pov: Zeus

I walked into the locker room, angry and ready to bet against the titans. Ares's ugly head appeared in front of my eyes. I smirked.

"Awe, Look it's the god of War. How's Aph?" I pointed out. He gave a pained look.

"Screw you, 'King of the Gods.'" Ares pointed his finger at me.

"You wish." I say back as I got ready. Huh, Without realizing it I looked into my locker. Hera's picture was there, along with my bracelet that she made me. I put it on and smiled. I looked to see a smug look on Ares.

"Just shut up." I glared at him when Nike coughed to clear the tension.

"You two Beef heads shut up. Your on the same team." She crossed her arms.

"Don't remind me." I roll my eyes.

"I know where Hera is, and don't even think about-" Ares started when I glared.

"YOU KNOW!?" I screamed.

"Yeah. Janitors room, 14." He shrugged.

"WHAT?!" I screamed again.

"Yeah." Ares walked out with the rest of the team. Nike followed. Nike was allowed after the guys get dressed to come with the team.

As the guys cheer out, I looked around. I spot Ares trading something for a key. I follow him, as he goes back inside. He turns to the health corner and walks faster. He unlocks a door. Hera floods out and sees me. She rushes over to hug me. I hug her tightly and I feel her cry. I kiss her head sweetly,

"Love, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes of Course. You won game?" She asked.

"Not Yet...But It is halftime." I say, as a slight smirk appeared.

I looked over to Ares, who is hugging Aphrodite and asking if everyone else is okay.

"Thank you Ares!" Autumn smiled.

Jody ran out of the room screaming.

"FOOD! GLORIOUS FOOD!!!!" Clearly she was starving.

I sighed and then saw Hades sitting with Persephone.

Autumn was trying to tame the wild beast named Jody as she clawed her way through the crowded hall.

"FREEEEEEEEDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!! THE WORLD IS NOW MINE!!!!" she screamed, kicking over a trash can on the way.

"JODY! SLOW DOWN!!!" Autumn was getting dragged behind Jody.

"NEVER! I'M FREE, AND I SWEAR I'M COMING AFTER THOSE *censored* TITANS WITH THE FORCE OF *censored* AND *censored* AND THE ENTIRE GOD *censored* US MILITARY!! I SWEAR THEIR MOTHERS WILL C R Y WHEN THEY SEE WHAT I'VE DONE WITH THEM!!!"

Autumn giggled and then suddenly stopped. "Hold On! THE GAME!!"

"I DON- *The following language was so foul, so disturbing, that we couldn't even show the words surrounding said words. The fact that these syllables came out of the mouth of someone of this age is highly disturbing; We may end up calling Child Protective Services. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.* "

Autumn sighed and then took Jody to the other side of the school, where she sat her down and gave her food. The wild beast ate the food gladly, and then took off with the rage of teenage girl who had been conned out of her afternoon. If there was dust, there would have be a Jody dust cloud, and I shuddered at the mere sight of Jody tackling a titan, screeching like a rabid banshee. Well, I rolled my eyes as Ares complained about trying to win, when we already got what we wanted. If anything, the game had been lost when the Titans decided to take hostages, as now they were dealing with the wrath of a teenage woman scorned. Ares was mostly quiet about how he got the key. But I was starting to get angry at him for holding it in.

"Tell us!" I slammed my hands down on wall besides him.

He didn't look scared, and he didn't even flinch. He was unfazed.

"No." Ares said crossing his arms, staring up at me. The scar across his right eye showed my power. That day was when we broke a window at McDonalds.

"Fine." I scoffed. "I'll ask Hades." I walk away as angry as before. Leaving the guy behind me, I could feel my head being burned into as he glared from behind me.

I found my brother hugging his friends tightly.

"Brother." I walked closer, saying it coldly.

"Yes, Brother?" Hades turned to me, his glare was the cold kind, as I felt a chill.

"I was wondering. Do you know what Ares did to unlock the door?" I asked. Autumn looked away as Jody looked down. The grateful, happy feeling was replaced with grim and cold.

".....what?" I asked softly.

"He has saved the rest by giving.......the titans..." Hades started to say when Ares interrupted.

"My powers." He said, so softly that I couldn't believe him.

"What...?" I asked him. He shrugged and then sighed.

"Gods.......we aren't always about the high power...." Ares says calmly.

"My Heart and my best friend were the people trapped in that hole.....so I had the most important thing, My only thing to my name...my godly powers. I decided that I would rather be mortal than without the people that I truly care about." Ares added on. He turned away and walked to his friends and never looked back. I was surprised, shocked, and even a little proud. But yet Ares is mortal now, he will have trouble in this school.....Not unless I have something to say about it.

"He is stupid brave." I turned and walked towards the crowd of titans.
