The two wizards approached them, obviously nervous. They were as tall as Rogodo, and looked practically the same, just wearing black cloaks.
"Crucio!" Shouted one of the Soldiers, trembling. A searing pain traveled through him, his hands were shaking uncontrollably. Felix had never felt anything like it, it was if his clothes were white hot. Without warning, the pain stopped. Jean had disarmed the Soldier and was now striking a beam of light into his chest. That was until she was thrown through the air by the other Soldier.
"Petrificus Totallus!" The Soldier who just send Jean away now had his arms and legs pinned together, like they were glued and fell to the ground like a log. Jean and Felix turned to the other Soldier, who was trembling and pointed their wands at them. Jean muttered something under her breath, Felix was unable to identify what she said, but some blue light shot out of the tip of her wand and hit the floor right beneath him.
"You missed," Said Felix, who smirked at Jean.
"Did I?" Replied Jean, grinning. Felix turned his head back to the large man. He was completely glued to the floor, and was grunting, apparently trying to get up. He wasn't very successful.
"What the- "Felix started.
"Viverra Area," Jean interrupted. "It makes the gravity in a certain area a lot stronger. Quick let's go before the jinx wears off!" Felix and Jean turned to the glass door, where it seemed that Rogodo knew nothing of what has just happened inside. They made eye contact, nodded and suddenly barged through the vast door.
"Incarneous!" Ropes shot out the end of Felix's wand, entangling him and leaving him unable to move.
"Levicorpus!" Almost immediately after being entangled in ropes, Rogodo was lifted off of the ground, into the air, upside-down. Despite all of this, Rogodo was laughing, a vile, cruel, malicious laugh.
"Hello!" Said Rogodo. He paused, then suddenly roared with an insane laugh.
"He's insane." Jean whispered to Felix, peering at Rogodo, who seemed to think that greeting them was the funniest thing he has ever done.
"REDUCTO, LIBERACORPUS!" A Dark Soldier, who was riding on a broom some 50 meters away from the balcony and who seemed to be just joining in on the fight, had liberated Rogodo free of his curses. Rogodo fell to the ground, did somewhat of a backflip before landing on the ground. It reminded Felix of a superhero movie he watched when he was six. Rogodo dramatically looked up, and pointed his wand directly at Jean. Orange light shot out of the tip of his wand and hit her dangling cloak, which immediately caught flames. Felix reacted quickly, pointed his wand at Jean, and muttered 'Aguamenti' under his breath. Water shot out of his wand, and quickly put out the flames currently engulfing Jean.
"Expelliamus!" Felix shouted at Rogodo. Hi wand shot out of his hand and fell onto the floor. Rogodo dived for it, but was too late, Jean had used the summoning charm and held it in her hand, feeling victorious.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?" roared Jean. Rogodo didn't reply, because he was clearly trying to brainstorm ways to get his wand back. Then he spoke.
"He has returned, young girl, he has returned to power!" he said rather dramatically, "Soon he will rule over each and every one of us and Rogodo will be rewarded beyond his wildest dreams! Accio wand!" Rogodo's wand now flew out of the unsuspecting Jean's hand and Rogodo was clutching it to his chest like it meant the world to him. Nor Felix or Jean had any idea whom he was talking about, and assumed he was going senile.
"May we ask," started Jean, "who are you talking about?"
"Have you not figured out?" Rogodo roared with laughter, "DELORUS, THE KING OF THE DARK WIZARDS! You should remember him, he killed your puny, unloving muggle parents!" Delorus was a dark wizard, who took inspiration from Voldemort's acts and took it upon himself to continue his wants and desires. It was true that Felix was muggle-born, and that Delorus murdered his parents when he was merely 10 years old.
"REDUCTO!" Boomed Felix, who was completely enraged describing his parents the way he did. Rogodo blocked his spell using the shield charm and proceeded to fire a bolt of green light his way. A wall of rock erupted in front of Felix, blocking the killing curse. Felix looked over at Jean, she was ready to fight as well. Suddenly, the wall of rock burst into smaller rocks, one of the larger ones collided with Felix's chest, knocking him back through the glass door. Felix got up bleeding, from his face and with a few small shards of glass stuck in him in several places, and the following incantations just seemed to flow from his mouth.
"Sectumsempra!" White light shot from the end of Felix's wand and went right into Rogodo's stomach. Jean and Rogodo seemed to gasp in unison, Jean because her husband just emitted a dangerous and near-unforgivable curse, and Rogodo because he was now bleeding rapidly, lying in a pool of his own blood.
"What do you think you're doing?" Asked Jean, enraged, "Do you even know the counter curse, Rogodo could die!" Felix shook his head, but he remembered the counter-curse somewhere in the back of his brain. He was thinking back on all of the NEWT Defense Against the Dark Arts he did, and tried to recall the topic of counter-curses for dangerous curses. Finally, his brain remembered.
"Vulnera Sanentur" he muttered. Rogodo's bleeding gradually stopped, and his wounds were closing in on themselves. Rogodo's panicky and alarmingly fast breathing eased, and was going into a more relaxed state. When Rogodo's wounds were closed and when he was safe, Jean turned to Felix.
"Come on, we have to inform Harry! Delorus has returned!" Felix and Jean turned to leave, but on the way, Jean flew off of her feet and soared through the air. Felix dived to catch her but he was too late. Jean went over the handrail, and plummeted off of the balcony. Felix could do nothing.
