Felix froze, watching his beloved wife falling and falling down ten stories onto the street below. Felix tried to scream, or at least shout her name, but the shock cut his voice out, and he was unable to speak. The Dark Soldier who launched Jean off of her broom was cackling in the background. Felix turned to face him, and shot a burst of red light at him. The Alarte Ascendare charm nearly missed him, but hit him on his right leg. Nevertheless, he shot ten feet in the air, and missed his broom and plummeted out of Felix's sight. Despite this, Felix did not feel bad, considering what he did to his wife.

"FELIX, FELIX!" Screamed a familiar cry in the distance. The voice was crying. Felix ran to the end of the balcony, to see if he could get a better look at the source of the voice. Jean Granger was on the back of a broom, screaming his name. The Dark Soldiers have kidnapped her.

Felix ran back into the building, where it was much quieter than it was previously. When he arrived in the main hall, where the wall of rock and fish pond were, he could see that the Dark Soldiers have retreated. There were bodies all around the place, including the motionless body of Aaron. Those standing were cleaning up, or escorting those Aurors who were injured. It was a terrible sight. The rocks wall stood at half the height it stood previously, the rest of the rocks were scattered around the hall, some were on the top of limp bodies. Felix could see Daisy, who was one of his best friends, lying motionless under a rock. He hoped that he didn't accidentally kill her, he doubted it. Felix was moving expressionless, but felt a mixture of horror and relief.

"Felix, oh Felix!" Said Pomona, rushing towards him. Pomona was bleeding all over her face, and was bruised quite heavily. Not unlike the rest of the Aurors Felix could see. "I'm so glad your OK!"

"Jean is gone."

"What!"

"She was knocked off of the balcony, but luckily and unluckily a Dark Soldier caught her and they flew off somewhere. Pomona, Jean's been kidnapped!" Pomona looked like she was about to cry. First, her best friend Aaron was murdered, and now Jean has been kidnapped.

"Pomona, do you know if Blaise Gropius is a Dark Soldier?" Asked Felix

"I think so, he has been spotted wearing a black cloak with distinct gold- Oh no! Blaise is a Dark Soldier!" Exclaimed Pomona

"Perfect. Lets go!" Felix grabbed Pomona's hand and they rushed out of the building. Felix summoned two Firebolts, a brand of broomsticks, and they flew towards the Alps.

Felix and Pomona rarely stopped, they even only slept on the roadside. By the day, Felix's panicking state was worsening. One night, an especially bad night, Felix was shouting at Pomona and throwing things at her because the shop was closed. Felix still feels bad about it. After three days of travelling, they arrived at Dragonstar, a Swiss wizarding town. There were a lot of shady figures in that town, they even saw a Dark Soldier one day in the pub. This was good news, it means they were close. They stayed there for a week, a long, grueling week, each day they travelled to various locations, in search of the Cave of Darkness. They even tried following the Dark Soldier, but they missed him. At least they know the rough direction.

One day however, when they sat as close as they could to the group of Soldiers, Felix over heard them having a conversation that could lead he and Pomona to their desired location. There was at least five or six of them, with one small, skinny boy who wasn't dressed in their typical uniform. He was shaking.

"So, Noah, you wanna join us, eh?" Asked a rough voice of a Dark Soldier, "You think you got what it takes?"

"Y-y-yes? I want to j-join Delorus in his..." Noah gulped, "quest." The Dark Soldiers chuckled.

"So, you've heard? How, little boy?"

"My dad, he's a Dark Soldier."

"Really now? Who's he then?"

"Hunter. Hunter Fox." The Dark Soldiers froze, then exchanged nervous looks. Hunter must be a higher rank than they, because right after they accepted him in, and were much, much nicer to him.

"Can you fly, a broomstick?" Asked the largest of the Dark Soldiers, in a much softer tone to what it was when first addressing Noah.

"Yes, but not very well."

"Should we go slowly for you?"

"Yeah, that'll be great, thanks" They stood up and left the pub, Felix and Pomona followed close behind. When they mounted their brooms, Felix and Pomona out of sight, they found it much easier to follow them because Noah was such a bad broomstick rider. Their camp was much farther than they expected, but miraculously, they were able to stay out of sight and follow them at the same time.

After what felt like an hour of riding, one of the Dark Soldiers shouted, "Bye Blaise, see you soon!"

"Blaise, that Blaise?" Whispered Pomona.

"Lets hope so." Replied Felix. They turned their brooms and followed Blaise for another ten minutes, before he stopped in front of a cave, on the top of a mountain. Felix and Pomona landed several hundred meters away, but could see their destination nonetheless.
