Chapter 1

Lily's POV

"You know you don't have to be so rude about everything you say to me." I snapped at Tatum. She looked shocked that I would ever dare say anything to her. She was wrong.

"Well, you need to keep your eyes off of my boyfriend." She hissed at me.

"Suck a dick!" I managed to slip out of my mouth, before she turned around and stomped away.

I hated how she labeled him. He was the one. The one I have had a crush on for five years. I felt like I deserve him, because she usually just uses guys for sex. She isn't desperate like me though. But she is popular, which I am not. We have differences which makes us the two different people we are today. She was the one with long straight blonde hair. She was the one with Marcus. Why him out of all people?

It was just in time for lunch after Tatum yelled at me. Which is usual, because she always has a reason to yell at me. I walked to my locker, opened it and then grabbed my lunch. I ran to the cafeteria. There was a fountain in the lunch room. Right near the fountain there was three tables. The jocks, cheerleaders, and preps. On the other end of the lunchroom was the garbage cans. Only one lucky table was there. And only one lucky person sat there. By the way that person was me.

I noticed that the jocks and cheerleaders had put together their tables so that they could sit next to their boyfriend or girlfriend. So there he was. Black hair, with black eyes. Him. The reason why I came to school everyday. Just took look at him and his beauty. I love it when a smirk makes its way onto Marcus's face. It made me blush just by looking at him.

I was daydreaming about what it would be like in twenty years. Me married to Marcus. Our two twin girls named Mary and Marie ran around our mansion, as I told my maid to clean up any mess they left behind. I wanted to keep daydreaming about the future, but somebody started to snap their fingers in front of my face. I heard them mumble

"She's got it bad." I couldn't tell who had said that. I looked up and saw a bunch of girls who sat at one of the fountain tables. They were the preps. Why where they even here? Anger made its way into my feelings. They ruined my daydream!

"What the hell are you talking about?" I questioned them as they looked at me with a you-know-what-I-mean look. But I actually had no clue what they were talking about.

"You have a crush on Marcus, the schools QB of the football team." They told me, which I already knew. They didn't have to say it out loud. I asked them a question with an attitude.

"Why are you here?" They all looked at me and giggled. I hated these girls. It's all about parties, shopping, and boys with them.

"To tell you that Tatum is gonna kill you." As soon as I heard that I heard the clicks and the clicks of heels coming my way. I looked up and saw Tatum. Why did she have to get the attention of everyone in the room?

"I thought I told you earlier to get your eyes off of Marcus?" She asked me quickly, like she was in a rush. What was she in a rush? Probably because she has to go make out with Marcus. Yeah that's probably true.

"I thought i told you earlier to suck a dick!" I can't believe the words coming out of my mouth. Unbelievable. Her face showed lots of hatred and anger. I should probably get away from her before she kills me.

She just stood there for a while. He couldn't even come up with a comeback! I am really enjoying this. Eventually she just stomped away again. I hate her. A lot. But it was funny that she couldn't say a word back to me after what I said to her.

"O-M-G! How did you leave her speechless?!" I heard a perky high pitched voice squeal. It was the prep girl who was talking to me earlier.

"Um, I don't know. My mind spoke for me." I was honestly telling the truth. I had no idea where those words came from.

"You must really love Marcus if you snapped at her like that without control." All the preps giggled and stared at me. Wait a minute.

"Did you just say love?" I questioned them with my eyes widened. They all started bursting out laughing. What was so funny?

"I would love to chit chat about your love for the QB, but we have to go back to our table before someone steals it from us." Another giggle left those girls lips. They were so annoying.

Once lunch ended I went to my last few classes. The day flew by so fast. Once the final bell rang (which was to remind everybody that school was over), I waited for my bus. It always was the last bus. After waiting for like a half an hour which seemed like hours, my bus finally arrived. I almost shit myself when I saw who was on my bus. Marcus. He took a short glance at me and I blushed right away. He noticed. And smirked. That made me blush a deep red. He started making his way to me. He sat down in the seat in front of me. I never thought he knew who I was.

"Get your eyes off me, I'm taken."
